أكد وزير المياه والبيئة اليمني المهندس توفيق الشرجبي، أن المواطن في محافظة المهرة وعموم المحافظات اليمنية بات يتلمس بوضوح الأثر العميق والثمار الحية للبصمات التنموية والمشاريع الإستراتيجية التي تقدمها السعودية.
وأشاد الشرجبي بمستوى الإنجاز والتجهيزات المتكاملة في مدينة الملك سلمان الطبية والتعليمية بمحافظة المهرة، واصفاً إياها بالصرح الطبي والتنموي الكبير الذي يجسد أواصر الأخوة الصادقة والدعم المستمر الذي تقدمه السعودية لليمن وشعبه.

ونوه وزير المياه والبيئة، خلال زيارته الميدانية للمشروع، بالدعم السخي والمتواصل الذي تقدمه حكومة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي عهده رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، عبر ذراعها التنموي «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن».
وأشار الشرجبي إلى أن هذا المشروع الإستراتيجي النوعي سيحدث نقلة نوعية كبرى في القطاع الصحي، مساهماً بشكل فاعل في تقديم خدمات طبية متكاملة لأبناء محافظة المهرة والمحافظات المجاورة عموماً، فضلاً عن دوره المحوري في تخفيف أعباء وعناء السفر لتلقي العلاج في الخارج.
وجدد وزير المياه والبيئة التأكيد على أن الأثر التنموي لهذا الصرح الطبي لن يقتصر على الجانب الصحي فحسب، بل سيمتد ليعزز مسارات التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية المستدامة في المحافظة، معرباً عن بالغ الشكر والتقدير للمملكة قيادةً وشعباً على وقوفهم الدائم إلى جانب اليمن في مختلف الظروف.
The Yemeni Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, confirmed that citizens in Al-Mahrah Governorate and throughout Yemen are clearly feeling the profound impact and tangible benefits of the developmental fingerprints and strategic projects provided by Saudi Arabia.
Al-Sharjabi praised the level of achievement and the comprehensive preparations in King Salman Medical and Educational City in Al-Mahrah Governorate, describing it as a significant medical and developmental edifice that embodies the bonds of sincere brotherhood and the continuous support that Saudi Arabia provides to Yemen and its people.

The Minister of Water and Environment, during his field visit to the project, highlighted the generous and ongoing support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, through its developmental arm, the "Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen."
Al-Sharjabi pointed out that this qualitative strategic project will bring about a major qualitative shift in the health sector, actively contributing to the provision of comprehensive medical services for the people of Al-Mahrah Governorate and the neighboring governorates in general, in addition to its pivotal role in alleviating the burdens and hardships of traveling abroad for treatment.
The Minister of Water and Environment reiterated that the developmental impact of this medical edifice will not be limited to the health sector alone, but will extend to enhance pathways for sustainable social and economic development in the governorate, expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people for their constant support for Yemen in various circumstances.
