أعلنت وزارة التجارة الصينية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، اتخاذ إجراءات مضادة بحق ستة كيانات أمريكية، من بينها شركة «أبلايد دي إن إيه ساينسز»، وذلك رداً على العقوبات التي فرضتها الولايات المتحدة على شركات صينية.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الصينية «شينخوا» أن الإجراءات دخلت حيز التنفيذ اعتباراً من اليوم، في إطار رد بكين على القيود والعقوبات الأمريكية الأخيرة التي استهدفت عدداً من الشركات الصينية.
وأكدت وزارة التجارة الصينية أن العقوبات الأمريكية تمثل «انتهاكاً جسيماً للقانون الدولي والأعراف الأساسية الحاكمة للعلاقات الدولية»، معتبرة أنها تقوض سيادة الصين وأمنها ومصالحها التنموية بصورة خطيرة.
وشددت الوزارة على أن الإجراءات المضادة تأتي في إطار حماية الحقوق والمصالح المشروعة للصين، ومواجهة ما وصفته بالإجراءات الأمريكية الأحادية التي تستهدف الشركات الصينية.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة في ظل استمرار التوتر بين الصين والولايات المتحدة، حيث يتبادل الطرفان منذ سنوات فرض عقوبات وقيود تجارية وتكنولوجية على شركات ومؤسسات من الجانبين، في إطار منافسة إستراتيجية تشمل قطاعات التكنولوجيا المتقدمة وأشباه الموصلات والذكاء الاصطناعي والتجارة الدولية.
وخلال الأشهر الأخيرة، كثفت واشنطن إجراءاتها لتقييد أنشطة عدد من الشركات الصينية، بدعوى حماية الأمن القومي، بينما تؤكد بكين أن هذه السياسات تهدف إلى احتواء صعودها الاقتصادي والتكنولوجي، وتتعهد بالرد عبر إجراءات مضادة لحماية مصالحها وشركاتها.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced today (Wednesday) that it has taken countermeasures against six American entities, including the company "Applied DNA Sciences," in response to the sanctions imposed by the United States on Chinese companies.
The Chinese news agency "Xinhua" reported that the measures took effect as of today, as part of Beijing's response to the recent American restrictions and sanctions targeting several Chinese companies.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce confirmed that the American sanctions represent "a serious violation of international law and the basic norms governing international relations," considering that they seriously undermine China's sovereignty, security, and developmental interests.
The ministry emphasized that the countermeasures are aimed at protecting China's legitimate rights and interests and confronting what it described as unilateral American actions targeting Chinese companies.
This step comes amid ongoing tensions between China and the United States, as both sides have been exchanging sanctions and trade and technological restrictions on companies and institutions from both sides for years, within the framework of a strategic competition that includes advanced technology sectors, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and international trade.
In recent months, Washington has intensified its measures to restrict the activities of several Chinese companies, citing national security concerns, while Beijing asserts that these policies aim to contain its economic and technological rise, pledging to respond with countermeasures to protect its interests and companies.
