أفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، بمقتل جنديين وإصابة سبعة آخرين من أفراد اللواء 55 في جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، إثر انفجار عبوة ناسفة داخل مبنى مفخخ في بلدة مجدل زون بجنوب لبنان، في حادثة تعد من أعنف الخسائر التي يتكبدها الجيش الإسرائيلي في المنطقة خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
وأكد مسؤولون في الجيش الإسرائيلي نقل عدد كبير من المصابين إلى مستشفى رمبام في مدينة حيفا، بعد إصابتهم في الانفجار الذي وقع خلال عمليات عسكرية داخل البلدة.
وذكر موقع «حدشوت بزمان» العبري أن مروحية عسكرية هبطت في مستشفى رمبام، بينما شاركت ثلاث مركبات إخلاء في استقبال المصابين، مشيراً إلى نقل أربعة جنود وضباط في حالة خطيرة من موقع الانفجار، مع ترجيحات أولية بوجود قتلى، قبل أن تؤكد وسائل إعلام لاحقاً مقتل جنديين.
من جهته، أفاد موقع «Ynet» العبري بأن الجيش الإسرائيلي رد على الهجوم بشن غارات استهدفت الأراضي الزراعية والمشاعات الواقعة بين بلدتي مجدل زون والمنصوري، موضحاً أن الضربات طالت منشآت قال إنها تابعة لـ«حزب الله» في بلدة مجدل زون.
وفي السياق ذاته، تداولت منصات التواصل الاجتماعي مقطع فيديو يظهر عمليات الإخلاء الجوي للجنود الإسرائيليين المصابين بواسطة مروحيات عسكرية، في مشهد عكس حجم الخسائر التي خلفها الانفجار.
وتأتي هذه الحادثة في ظل استمرار التوتر العسكري على الحدود اللبنانية الإسرائيلية، رغم الجهود الدولية الرامية إلى تثبيت التهدئة. وتشهد مناطق جنوب لبنان بين الحين والآخر عمليات عسكرية متبادلة، بينما يواصل الجيش الإسرائيلي تنفيذ غارات وعمليات ميدانية يقول إنها تستهدف مواقع وبنى تحتية تابعة لـ«حزب الله»، في حين تؤكد الجماعة اللبنانية استمرارها في استهداف القوات الإسرائيلية داخل مناطق المواجهة، ما يبقي الحدود الجنوبية للبنان ساحة مفتوحة لاحتمالات التصعيد.
Israeli media reported today (Wednesday) that two soldiers were killed and seven others from the 55th Brigade of the Israeli occupation army were injured due to an explosion of a bomb inside a booby-trapped building in the town of Majdel Zoun in southern Lebanon, in an incident considered one of the most severe losses the Israeli army has suffered in the region recently.
Israeli army officials confirmed that a large number of the injured were transferred to Rambam Hospital in Haifa after being wounded in the explosion that occurred during military operations inside the town.
The Hebrew site "Hadshot BeZman" reported that a military helicopter landed at Rambam Hospital, while three evacuation vehicles participated in receiving the injured, noting that four soldiers and officers were transported in serious condition from the explosion site, with initial indications of fatalities, before media later confirmed the death of two soldiers.
For its part, the Hebrew site "Ynet" reported that the Israeli army responded to the attack by launching airstrikes targeting agricultural lands and common lands between the towns of Majdel Zoun and Al-Mansouri, clarifying that the strikes hit facilities it claimed were affiliated with "Hezbollah" in the town of Majdel Zoun.
In the same context, social media platforms circulated a video showing the air evacuation operations of the injured Israeli soldiers using military helicopters, in a scene that reflected the extent of the losses caused by the explosion.
This incident comes amid ongoing military tension along the Lebanese-Israeli border, despite international efforts aimed at stabilizing the ceasefire. Southern Lebanon occasionally witnesses mutual military operations, while the Israeli army continues to carry out airstrikes and field operations that it claims target sites and infrastructure belonging to "Hezbollah," while the Lebanese group confirms its ongoing targeting of Israeli forces within confrontation areas, keeping Lebanon's southern border an open arena for potential escalation.
