كشفت وسائل إعلام يمنية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، إنقاذ القوات البحرية وقوات خفر السواحل في قطاع البحر الأحمر جميع أفراد طاقم سفينة شحن هندية تعرضت لهجوم أدى إلى غرقها قبالة سواحل محافظة الحديدة غربي اليمن.
ونقلت وسائل يمنية عن مصادر ملاحية قولها إن السفينة التجارية «فايزي نوري أوليا» تعرضت لهجوم بوساطة زورق مفخخ أثناء إبحارها على بُعد نحو 13 ميلاً بحرياً جنوبي مدينة الحديدة، ما أدى إلى إصابتها إصابةً مباشرة وغرقها في مياه البحر الأحمر، موضحة أن عملية إنقاذ مشتركة نفذتها القوات البحرية وخفر السواحل أسفرت عن إجلاء جميع أفراد طاقم السفينة، البالغ عددهم 14 بحاراً هندياً بينهم بحار يمني واحد، دون تسجيل أي خسائر بشرية.
وأشارت إلى أنه جرى نقلهم إلى مكان آمن وتقديم الرعاية والإسعافات الطبية اللازمة لهم عقب انتشالهم، مبينة أن السفينة تعرضت لهجوم بقارب مفخخ.
من جهة أخرى، حذّرت وحدة الأمن البحري (PTOC Yemen) من سفينتين هنديتين يشتبه في تورطهما بعمليات إمداد للحوثيين عبر ميناء الصليف، وبحسب بيان الوحدة فإنها تتابع عن كثب نشاط سفينتين خشبيتين تقليديتين هما (MSV GULSHAN F.KADRI وAL SALIMA-MNV-2190) وكلتاهما ترفعان العلم الهندي، وذلك في إطار عمليات الرصد المستمرة لحركة السفن ذات الأنماط التشغيلية غير الاعتيادية في جنوب البحر الأحمر، والتي يشتبه في استخدامها في تنفيذ رحلات بحرية متكررة إلى ميناء الصليف الخاضع لسيطرة مليشيا الحوثي.
وأكدت الوحدة أهمية تعزيز الرقابة الجوية والرادارية على خطوط الملاحة الممتدة بين بربرة وجيبوتي وباب المندب وسواحل البحر الأحمر، مع التركيز على السفن الخشبية التي تعتمد على إخفاء بيانات التعريف الآلي أو اتباع أنماط تشغيل غير اعتيادية، بما يسهم في الحد من استغلال الممرات البحرية الإقليمية في تنفيذ أنشطة بحرية غير مشروعة أو دعم سلاسل إمداد الأسلحة العابرة للحدود إلى الحوثيين.
Yemeni media revealed today (Tuesday) that the naval forces and coast guard in the Red Sea sector rescued all crew members of an Indian cargo ship that was attacked and sank off the coast of Al Hudaydah province in western Yemen.
Yemeni media reported, citing maritime sources, that the commercial vessel "Faizi Nuri Aulia" was attacked by a suicide boat while sailing about 13 nautical miles south of the city of Al Hudaydah, which resulted in a direct hit and its sinking in the Red Sea. It was clarified that a joint rescue operation carried out by the naval forces and coast guard resulted in the evacuation of all 14 crew members, including one Yemeni sailor, with no reported casualties.
It was noted that they were transferred to a safe location and provided with necessary medical care and first aid after being rescued, indicating that the ship was attacked by a suicide boat.
On another note, the Maritime Security Unit (PTOC Yemen) warned of two Indian vessels suspected of being involved in supplying the Houthis via the Salif port. According to the unit's statement, it is closely monitoring the activities of two traditional wooden vessels, (MSV GULSHAN F.KADRI and AL SALIMA-MNV-2190), both flying the Indian flag, as part of ongoing monitoring of vessels with unusual operational patterns in the southern Red Sea, which are suspected of being used for repeated maritime trips to the Salif port controlled by the Houthi militia.
The unit emphasized the importance of enhancing aerial and radar surveillance over the shipping routes extending between Berbera and Djibouti, Bab al-Mandab, and the coasts of the Red Sea, focusing on wooden vessels that rely on concealing automatic identification data or following unusual operational patterns, which contributes to limiting the exploitation of regional maritime corridors for conducting illegal maritime activities or supporting cross-border arms supply chains to the Houthis.
