دانت مصر بأشد العبارات استهداف المنشآت النفطية في المنطقة الشرقية السعودية، والاعتداءات التي استهدفت المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، والتي تمثل اعتداءات مرفوضة على سيادة الدول والمنشآت المدنية والحيوية، وانتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي، وتصعيداً خطيراً يهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، ويقوض أمن الطاقة العالمي.
وأكدت مصر، بحسب بيان صدر، اليوم (الأربعاء) عن وزارة الخارجية، تضامنها الكامل مع كل من المملكة العربية السعودية والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ودعمها التام لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذانها للحفاظ على أمنهما واستقرارهما وحماية سيادتهما ومنشآتهما الحيوية، مجددة رفضها القاطع لكافة الاعتداءات التي تستهدف المنشآت المدنية والبنية التحتية الحيوية أو تمس أمن الدول العربية وسيادتها.
وكانت وزارة الدفاع السعودية قد أعلنت أنها قامت بالتنسيق مع القيادة المركزية الوسطى الأمريكية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، بشن ضربات نوعية محددة ضد أهداف تابعة لمليشيات موالية لإيران متواجدة على أراضي العراق مرتبطة بالاستهدافات على المنشآت البترولية في المملكة.
وأعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع السعودية اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، في بيان، أن الدفاعات الجوية اعترضت ودمرت عدداً من المسيّرات التي حاولت استهداف منشآت بترولية في منطقتي الشرقية والرياض. وأفاد بأن هذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية انطلقت من الأراضي العراقية ونفذتها مليشيات إرهابية موالية لإيران، وما تم التأكيد عليه من حق المملكة الأصيل في الدفاع عن نفسها ومقدراتها واحتفاظها بحق الرد في الوقت والمكان المناسبين.
وقال: انطلاقاً من حق الدفاع عن النفس الذي يكفله القانون الدولي وفق المادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، قامت القوات المسلحة السعودية بالتنسيق مع القيادة المركزية الوسطى الأمريكية، بشن ضربات نوعية محددة ضد أهداف تابعة لتلك المليشيات المتواجدة على أراضي العراق والمرتبطة بالاستهدافات على المنشآت البترولية في المملكة. وأكدت المملكة أنها لا تسعى إلى التصعيد إلا أنها سترد على أي عدوان تتعرض له.
وقالت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية «سنتكوم» إنها نفذت والقوات المسلحة السعودية ضربات دقيقة في العراق استهدفت من وصفتهم بـ«إرهابيين موالين لإيران، وجههم الحرس الثوري الإيراني لمهاجمة القوات الأمريكية والبنية التحتية للطاقة في السعودية».
وذكرت «سنتكوم»، في بيان، أن مقاتلات أمريكية وسعودية شنت غارات على عدة مواقع لوجستية ومستودعات أسلحة تابعة للإرهابيين في أنحاء شرق العراق، في رد قوي على أكثر من 30 هجوماً بطائرات مسيّرة وجهها الحرس الثوري خلال الساعات الـ72 الماضية. وجاء في البيان أن الهجمات غير المبررة ضد القوات الأمريكية لم تنجح. وأشارت «سنتكوم» إلى أنه خلال الفترة من فبراير حتى أبريل 2026، جرت أكثر من 600 محاولة هجوم استهدفت مواطنين أمريكيين ومنشآت أمريكية نفذتها مليشيات إرهابية متحالفة مع إيران في العراق، بحسب البيان.
من جانبها، أكدت وزارة الخارجية السعودية، في بيان، (الأربعاء)، أن «النهج العدواني الذي انتهجته المليشيات الإرهابية الموالية لإيران في العراق قد جاء في وقت كانت فيه المملكة تبذل الجهود للمساهمة في إنهاء التصعيد في المنطقة، وبما يحفظ أمنها واستقرارها».
وأكدت أن هذه المليشيات الإرهابية الموالية لإيران اختارت النهج التصعيدي غير المسؤول، وانتهاك القانون الدولي، وتجاهل ما تقتضيه الأخوّة الإسلامية من الالتزام بمبادئ حسن الجوار.
وأفادت المملكة بأن الضربات التي شنتها القوات المسلحة السعودية بالتنسيق مع القيادة الوسطى الأمريكية، (الأربعاء)، على أهداف محددة في أراضي العراق مرتبطة بالاستهدافات على المنشآت البترولية في المملكة، أتت انطلاقاً من حق الدفاع عن النفس الذي يكفله القانون الدولي وفق المادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة. وجاء في البيان أن المملكة تؤكد أنها لا تسعى إلى التصعيد، ولكن في حال تعرضت إلى أي اعتداءات فلن تتوانى في اتخاذ كل ما يلزم من إجراءات للحفاظ على سيادة المملكة وحماية مواطنيها ومقدراتها.
Egypt strongly condemned the targeting of oil facilities in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia and the attacks that targeted the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which represent unacceptable assaults on the sovereignty of states and vital civilian facilities, a blatant violation of international law, and a serious escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and undermines global energy security.
Egypt affirmed, according to a statement issued today (Wednesday) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its full solidarity with both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and its complete support for all measures they take to maintain their security and stability and to protect their sovereignty and vital facilities, reiterating its firm rejection of all attacks targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure or affecting the security and sovereignty of Arab states.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that it coordinated with the U.S. Central Command today (Wednesday) to carry out specific targeted strikes against positions belonging to Iran-affiliated militias located in Iraq, linked to the attacks on oil facilities in the Kingdom.
The spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated in a statement that air defenses intercepted and destroyed several drones that attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern and Riyadh regions. He reported that these terrorist attacks originated from Iraqi territory and were carried out by Iran-affiliated terrorist militias, emphasizing the Kingdom's inherent right to defend itself and its resources and to retain the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.
He said: Based on the right to self-defense guaranteed by international law under Article (51) of the United Nations Charter, the Saudi armed forces, in coordination with the U.S. Central Command, carried out specific targeted strikes against positions belonging to those militias located in Iraq and linked to the attacks on oil facilities in the Kingdom. The Kingdom confirmed that it does not seek escalation but will respond to any aggression it faces.
The U.S. Central Command "CENTCOM" stated that it, along with the Saudi armed forces, conducted precise strikes in Iraq targeting what it described as "Iran-affiliated terrorists, directed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to attack U.S. forces and energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia."
CENTCOM mentioned in a statement that American and Saudi fighter jets launched raids on several logistical sites and weapons depots belonging to the terrorists across eastern Iraq, in a strong response to more than 30 drone attacks directed by the Revolutionary Guard over the past 72 hours. The statement noted that the unjustified attacks against U.S. forces were unsuccessful. CENTCOM indicated that from February to April 2026, there were over 600 attempted attacks targeting American citizens and American facilities carried out by Iran-allied terrorist militias in Iraq, according to the statement.
For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement (Wednesday) that "the aggressive approach taken by Iran-affiliated terrorist militias in Iraq came at a time when the Kingdom was making efforts to contribute to ending the escalation in the region, in a way that preserves its security and stability."
It affirmed that these Iran-affiliated terrorist militias chose the irresponsible escalation approach, violating international law and ignoring what Islamic brotherhood requires in terms of adhering to good neighborly principles.
The Kingdom stated that the strikes carried out by the Saudi armed forces in coordination with the U.S. Central Command (Wednesday) on specific targets in Iraqi territory linked to the attacks on oil facilities in the Kingdom were based on the right to self-defense guaranteed by international law under Article (51) of the United Nations Charter. The statement emphasized that the Kingdom does not seek escalation, but if it faces any aggression, it will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to maintain the sovereignty of the Kingdom and protect its citizens and resources.
