أعربت منظمة التعاون الإسلامي عن إدانتها الشديدة لتصاعد إرهاب المستوطنين والجرائم الممنهجة المرتكبة بحق المدنيين الفلسطينيين، التي تتم بتواطؤ ودعم مباشر من قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة.
وأشارت المنظمة في هذا الصدد إلى الجرائم الأخيرة التي شهدتها بلدتا «تِل» في محافظة نابلس و«دير جرير» في محافظة رام الله والبيرة، فضلاً عن العدوان المتواصل على قطاع غزة، مما أسفر عن سقوط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى، وتزامن ذلك مع اعتداءات المستعمرين المتطرفين على المدنيين العزل، وتدمير ممتلكاتهم، وإحراق أراضيهم الزراعية ومنازلهم، وسرقة مواشيهم، في ظل تنامي وتيرة التوسع الاستيطاني غير القانوني.
وحذرت من التبعات الخطيرة لهذا التصعيد الناجم عن العدوان الاستعماري الإسرائيلي والإرهاب المنظم والجرائم المتواصلة بحق الشعب الفلسطيني ومقدراته، مؤكدةً أن هذه الممارسات تُعد انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني، وقرارات الشرعية الدولية، والرأي الاستشاري الصادر عن محكمة العدل الدولية.
وأكدت الأمانة العامة أن استمرار هذا الإرهاب وتصاعده يمثل تنفيذاً فعلياً لسياسات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الرامية إلى التهجير القسري، والتطهير العرقي، والإبادة الجماعية التي تُرتكب في كافة الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما في ذلك الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة والقدس الشريف.
وجددت الأمانة العامة دعوتها للمجتمع الدولي والمؤسسات الأممية، وعلى رأسها مجلس الأمن والهيئات القضائية الدولية، إلى تحمل مسؤولياتها القانونية والأخلاقية في توفير الحماية الدولية للشعب الفلسطيني، ومساءلة الاحتلال وعصابات المستوطنين عن جرائمهم المنظمة بحق المدنيين العزل وفقاً لأحكام القانون الجنائي الدولي، كما تدعو كافة الدول إلى مواصلة جهودها الرامية إلى تفكيك منظومة الاستيطان وكياناتها غير الشرعية في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation expressed its strong condemnation of the escalation of settler terrorism and the systematic crimes committed against Palestinian civilians, which are carried out with the complicity and direct support of the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In this regard, the organization pointed to the recent crimes witnessed in the towns of "Til" in Nablus Governorate and "Deir Jarir" in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, as well as the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded. This coincided with attacks by extremist settlers on unarmed civilians, the destruction of their property, the burning of their agricultural lands and homes, and the theft of their livestock, amid the increasing pace of illegal settlement expansion.
It warned of the serious repercussions of this escalation resulting from Israeli colonial aggression, organized terrorism, and ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people and their resources, affirming that these practices constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, international legitimacy resolutions, and the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice.
The General Secretariat emphasized that the continuation and escalation of this terrorism represent an effective implementation of Israeli occupation policies aimed at forced displacement, ethnic cleansing, and genocide being committed in all the occupied Palestinian territories, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and the Holy Jerusalem.
The General Secretariat renewed its call to the international community and UN institutions, foremost among them the Security Council and international judicial bodies, to assume their legal and moral responsibilities in providing international protection for the Palestinian people and holding the occupation and settler gangs accountable for their organized crimes against unarmed civilians in accordance with the provisions of international criminal law. It also calls on all countries to continue their efforts aimed at dismantling the settlement system and its illegal entities in the occupied Palestinian territories.
