يواصل مستشفى الأمير محمد بن سلمان في العاصمة اليمنية المؤقتة عدن أداء رسالته الإنسانية تجاه السكان في اليمن بدعم سخي ومتواصل من المملكة العربية السعودية عبر ذراعها الإنساني والتنموي «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن»؛ ليصبح ركيزة أساسية في تعزيز القطاع الصحي اليمني وتوفير الرعاية التخصصية.
ويُعد المستشفى صرحًا طبيًا متكاملًا، حيث يمتد على مساحة تجاوزت 20 ألف متر مربع، ويضم 14 عيادة متخصصة ومركزًا متطورًا للقلب، بسعة سريرية تصل إلى 270 سريرًا، مُدعمًا بـ2187 جهازًا ومعدة طبية حديثة تضمن تقديم أفضل مستويات الرعاية.
وتكشف لغة الأرقام حجم الأثر التنموي لهذا المشروع؛ إذ قدم المستشفى أكثر من 4 ملايين خدمة طبية منذ تشغيله، وتجاوز إجمالي المعاينات الطبية 1.5 مليون معاينة، فيما صُرف أكثر من 900 ألف وصفة صيدلانية.
وعلى الصعيد الجراحي والتخصصي، أجرى المستشفى 26,860 عملية جراحية، في حين نجح مركز القلب التخصصي في إجراء نحو 10 آلاف عملية قلب مفتوح وقسطرة قلبية.
ويشرف على تقديم الخدمات العلاجية والتدخلات الجراحية نخبة من الكوادر الطبية المؤهلة، التي تعمل على مدار الساعة لضمان تقديم الرعاية التخصصية لآلاف المرضى مجانًا.
ولم تتوقف جهود المملكة عند تقديم العلاج، بل امتدت لتوطين الخبرات عبر استضافة برامج تدريب تخصصية شملت الزمالة اليمنية لأمراض القلب، ودبلومات العناية المركزة والرعاية التنفسية، وبرامج البورد العربي، في تأكيد على دور المملكة الاستراتيجي في بناء القدرات الطبية اليمنية.
وتأتي هذه الجهود في إطار الدور الريادي للمملكة العربية السعودية، عبر «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن»، الذي يواصل تنفيذ حزمة من المشاريع الإستراتيجية والبرامج التنموية المستدامة؛ سعيًا لتحقيق الاستقرار الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، والارتقاء بجودة الحياة في مختلف المحافظات اليمنية، ترسيخًا للروابط الأخوية الراسخة والشراكة الإستراتيجية التي تجمع البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، وضمانًا لمستقبل أكثر ازدهارًا ونماءً لليمن.
The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in the temporary capital of Yemen, Aden, continues to fulfill its humanitarian mission towards the population in Yemen with generous and ongoing support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian and developmental arm, the "Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen"; making it a fundamental pillar in enhancing the Yemeni health sector and providing specialized care.
The hospital is a comprehensive medical facility, covering an area of over 20,000 square meters, and includes 14 specialized clinics and an advanced heart center, with a clinical capacity of 270 beds, supported by 2,187 modern medical devices and equipment that ensure the provision of the best levels of care.
The numbers reveal the extent of the developmental impact of this project; the hospital has provided more than 4 million medical services since its operation, with total medical examinations exceeding 1.5 million, while more than 900,000 prescriptions have been dispensed.
In terms of surgical and specialized care, the hospital has performed 26,860 surgical operations, while the specialized heart center successfully conducted nearly 10,000 open-heart surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.
A distinguished team of qualified medical staff oversees the provision of therapeutic services and surgical interventions, working around the clock to ensure specialized care for thousands of patients free of charge.
The Kingdom's efforts did not stop at providing treatment but extended to localizing expertise by hosting specialized training programs, including the Yemeni Fellowship in Cardiology, diplomas in intensive care and respiratory care, and Arab board programs, affirming the Kingdom's strategic role in building Yemeni medical capacities.
These efforts come within the framework of the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the "Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen," which continues to implement a package of strategic projects and sustainable developmental programs; striving to achieve economic and social stability, and to enhance the quality of life in various Yemeni governorates, reinforcing the strong brotherly ties and strategic partnership that unite the two countries and peoples, and ensuring a more prosperous and flourishing future for Yemen.
