أعلنت السلطات الأردنية اليوم (الأحد) التصدي لـ3 صواريخ إيرانية وسقوط رابع بمنطقة نائية.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الأردنية (بترا) عن مسؤول عسكري قوله إنه لم تقع أي إصابات أو أضرار مادية، مضيفاً: «فرق سلاح الهندسة الملكي باشرت التعامل مع موقع سقوط الصاروخ وتأمينه».
وأشار المسؤول إلى أن القوات تواصل مراقبة أجواء الأردن بأعلى درجات الجاهزية، وستتعامل بكل حزم مع أي تهديد.
وأفاد شهود عيان بأنه تم اعتراض الصواريخ قبل وصولها إلى العقبة، فيما لا يزال العمل يسير بشكل طبيعي بالميناء ولا تأثير على العمل بعد اعتراض الصواريخ.
وأفاد مسؤولون بالميناء بأن هناك خطط طوارئ للتعامل مع أي موقف.
من جهة أخرى، ذكرت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية اليوم أنها تتحقق من تقارير عن هجوم وقع ليلاً على موقع بناء محطة دارخوين النووية قيد الإنشاء في إيران، مبينة أن المنشأة كانت في مراحل مبكرة جداً من البناء، ولم تكن تحتوي على أي مواد نووية عند آخر عملية تفتيش لها.
وأكد التلفزيون الإيراني دوي انفجار في مدينة آبادان في محافظة خوزستان جنوب غربي البلاد.
في المقابل، قال وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت: «نعمل حالياً على ضمان تدفق النفط والغاز عبر مضيق هرمز بتعاون إيراني أو من غيره»، موضحاً أن الرئيس ترمب يبحث دائماً عن مخرج دبلوماسي ويريد إنهاء الأمر باتفاق.
وأضاف: «إذا كانت إيران مستعدة للحل الدبلوماسي فسيكون هذا هو الحل، وإلا فسنواصل ضمان حركة الملاحة».
The Jordanian authorities announced today (Sunday) that they intercepted 3 Iranian missiles, with a fourth falling in a remote area.
The Jordan News Agency (Petra) quoted a military official as saying that there were no injuries or material damage, adding: "Royal Engineering Corps teams have begun dealing with the site of the missile's fall and securing it."
The official indicated that the forces continue to monitor the skies over Jordan at the highest levels of readiness and will respond firmly to any threat.
Eyewitnesses reported that the missiles were intercepted before reaching Aqaba, while operations at the port continue normally and there has been no impact on work following the interception of the missiles.
Port officials stated that there are emergency plans in place to deal with any situation.
On another note, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported today that it is investigating reports of an attack that occurred overnight on the construction site of the Darakhouin nuclear power plant under construction in Iran, noting that the facility was in very early stages of construction and did not contain any nuclear materials during its last inspection.
Iranian television confirmed the sound of an explosion in the city of Abadan in Khuzestan province in the southwest of the country.
In contrast, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated: "We are currently working to ensure the flow of oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz, whether with Iranian cooperation or otherwise," explaining that President Trump is always looking for a diplomatic exit and wants to end the matter with an agreement.
He added: "If Iran is willing to pursue a diplomatic solution, that will be the solution; otherwise, we will continue to ensure the movement of navigation."
