أدان الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي، بأشد العبارات، الهجمات الإيرانية الغادرة التي استهدفت مملكة البحرين، ودولة الكويت، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، واستهدافها للبنى التحتية والمنشآت المدنية، الذي أسفر عن إصابة عدد من العاملين المدنيين في دولة الكويت.
وأكد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون أن ما أقدمت عليه إيران يعد تصعيداً بالغ الخطورة، ويشكل انتهاكاً جسيماً للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وجرائم حرب تستوجب المساءلة والمحاسبة الدولية، لما انطوى عليه من استهداف للبنى التحتية والمنشآت المدنية، في انتهاك صارخ لكافة الأعراف والمواثيق الدولية، وإمعان في زعزعة أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
وشدد على أن مجلس التعاون يقف صفاً واحداً مع مملكة البحرين، ودولة الكويت، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ويؤيد جميع الإجراءات التي تتخذها لحماية أمنها وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، معرباً عن تمنياته للمصابين في دولة الكويت بالشفاء العاجل.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, strongly condemned the treacherous Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as their targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, which resulted in injuries to several civilian workers in the State of Kuwait.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council affirmed that Iran's actions represent a highly dangerous escalation and constitute a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, as well as war crimes that warrant international accountability, due to the targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, in a blatant violation of all international norms and treaties, and a further attempt to destabilize the security and stability of the region.
He emphasized that the Gulf Cooperation Council stands united with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and supports all measures they take to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, expressing his wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured in the State of Kuwait.
