جدد رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد العليمي التأكيد على التزام الدولة اليمنية بحماية مواطنيها في مناطق سيطرة المليشيات الحوثية، واصفاً إياهم بـ«روح الجمهورية» التي لن يتخلى عنها مجلس القيادة مهما بلغت التضحيات.
وأوضح العليمي أن الحكومة اليمنية الشرعية قدمت كافة المبادرات الممكنة لتخفيف المعاناة الإنسانية وفتح آفاق السلام، إلا أن المليشيات الحوثية اختارت مجدداً نهج التصعيد والخراب، معرقلةً كل مساعي الاستقرار.
وفنّد رئيس مجلس القيادة اليمني مزاعم المليشيات حول إغلاق مطار صنعاء، موضحاً أن الدولة كانت ولا تزال حريصة على تشغيل الرحلات عبر الناقل الوطني لضمان تنقل اليمنيين بصورة قانونية، مشدداً على أن المليشيات هي من عمدت إلى احتجاز طائرات الخطوط الجوية اليمنية، ومصادرة أموالها، وتدمير أصولها، في تحدٍ صارخٍ لمعاناة المواطنين.
ووجه العليمي نداءً عاجلاً للقبائل اليمنية وأولياء الأمور، حثهم فيه على عدم السماح بتحويل أبنائهم إلى وقودٍ لحروبٍ عبثية، مؤكداً أن التغيير الحقيقي يتطلب الانحياز لمشروع الدولة والعدالة والمواطنة المتساوية، بعيداً عن أوهام المليشيات.
واختتم العليمي بالتأكيد على أن سياسة الابتزاز لن تجني للمليشيا سوى مزيد من العزلة والانكشاف، مؤكداً أن الدولة وقواتها المسلحة ثابتة على عهدها الدستوري في حماية السيادة الوطنية، مع بقاء اليد ممدودة لكل سلام عادل يُنهي الانقلاب ويستعيد لليمنيين كرامتهم المسلوبة.

The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, reaffirmed the commitment of the Yemeni state to protect its citizens in areas controlled by the Houthi militias, describing them as the "soul of the republic" that the Leadership Council will not abandon, no matter the sacrifices involved.
Al-Alimi explained that the legitimate Yemeni government has offered all possible initiatives to alleviate humanitarian suffering and open avenues for peace; however, the Houthi militias have once again chosen the path of escalation and destruction, obstructing all efforts for stability.
The President of the Yemeni Leadership Council refuted the militias' claims regarding the closure of Sana'a Airport, clarifying that the state has been and remains keen on operating flights through the national carrier to ensure the legal movement of Yemenis. He emphasized that it is the militias that have deliberately detained Yemeni Airlines planes, confiscated its funds, and destroyed its assets, in a blatant challenge to the suffering of citizens.
Al-Alimi issued an urgent call to the Yemeni tribes and guardians, urging them not to allow their children to be turned into fuel for futile wars, stressing that real change requires alignment with the project of the state, justice, and equal citizenship, away from the illusions of the militias.
Al-Alimi concluded by affirming that the policy of extortion will only bring the militia further isolation and exposure, asserting that the state and its armed forces remain steadfast in their constitutional duty to protect national sovereignty, while keeping an open hand for any fair peace that ends the coup and restores the dignity of Yemenis.
