تواصل مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية تحويل الحياة اليومية للمدنيين في مديرية نهم شرقي صنعاء إلى كابوس مستمر، إذ أُصيب مواطن أمس (الخميس) جراء انفجار لغم أرضي، في واقعة هي الثانية من نوعها في أقل من أسبوعين، ما يعكس إصرار المليشيا على تحويل المزارع والقرى إلى مناطق موت مفتوحة.
وأفادت منظمة «شهود» لحقوق الإنسان بأن المواطن مسعد علي جحيش (50 عاماً) تعرض لإصابات إثر انفجار لغم أثناء رعيه للأغنام في الجهة الغربية من قرية «برّان» بعزلة عيال غفير، وتحديداً في المنطقة الفاصلة بين منطقتي «البارك» و«العصيدة» على طريق السد الأسفل.
وحمّلت المنظمة مليشيا الحوثي المسؤولية الكاملة عن استمرار سقوط الضحايا، نتيجة رفضها المتواصل لتطهير المناطق الملوثة أو تسليم خرائط حقول الألغام، مؤكدة أن مساحات شاسعة في نهم لا تزال تشكل تهديداً مميتاً للمزارعين والرعاة والأطفال.
وتأتي الحادثة بعد أقل من 14 يوماً من واقعة مماثلة في منطقة «الصافح» بالمديرية ذاتها، حيث أدى انفجار لغم أرضي بالمواطن حمير محمد هادي جناح إلى إصابته بجروح بليغة، تسببت في فقدانه البصر بالكامل وإصابته بكسور في الوجه والأطراف، نقل على إثرها إلى العناية المركزة في حالة حرجة.
وعلى وقع هذه الحوادث المتلاحقة، تصاعدت المطالبات الحقوقية بضرورة الضغط على المليشيا لتسريع عمليات نزع الألغام وتطهير المناطق المأهولة، وضمان حماية المدنيين من هذا الخطر المتواصل الذي يفتك بالأبرياء ويترك ندوباً وعاهات مستديمة، وسط دعوات بوضع ملف الألغام الحوثية تحت طائلة المساءلة الدولية، نظراً إلى ما تشكله من جريمة حرب ضد الإنسانية.
The Houthi terrorist militia continues to turn the daily lives of civilians in the Nihm district, east of Sana'a, into a continuous nightmare, as a citizen was injured yesterday (Thursday) due to the explosion of a landmine, in an incident that marks the second of its kind in less than two weeks, reflecting the militia's determination to turn farms and villages into open death zones.
The organization "Witnesses" for Human Rights reported that the citizen, Musaad Ali Jahish (50 years old), sustained injuries from the explosion of a mine while he was herding sheep in the western part of the village of "Barran" in the isolation of Ayial Ghafir, specifically in the area separating the regions of "Al-Bark" and "Al-Asida" on the lower dam road.
The organization held the Houthi militia fully responsible for the continued casualties, due to its ongoing refusal to clear contaminated areas or provide maps of minefields, confirming that vast areas in Nihm still pose a deadly threat to farmers, shepherds, and children.
This incident comes less than 14 days after a similar occurrence in the "Al-Safah" area of the same district, where the explosion of a landmine severely injured the citizen Hamir Mohammed Hadi Janah, causing him to lose his sight completely and suffer fractures in his face and limbs, after which he was transferred to intensive care in critical condition.
In light of these successive incidents, human rights demands have intensified for the need to pressure the militia to expedite demining operations and clear populated areas, ensuring the protection of civilians from this ongoing danger that devastates innocents and leaves permanent scars and disabilities, amid calls to place the issue of Houthi mines under international accountability, given that it constitutes a war crime against humanity.
