With the beginning of the summer vacation

every year

a significant question is repeated in many households:

Where do our sons and daughters go

with all this long time?

For free time is not just hours passing

but a space that can be invested

in what is beneficial

or wasted in what is not useful.

Between these two paths, the family and society stand before a shared responsibility to create a generation that is more aware, confident

and capable of building its future.

The state - may God protect it

has provided wide opportunities for youth through

sports clubs

cultural programs

volunteer activities

seasonal initiatives

and events held in various

regions of the Kingdom.

Nevertheless,

the greatest role remains with the family in guiding children towards what develops their abilities

hones their talents

and strengthens their connection to their religion

their homeland, and their community.

Today, an observer notices that much of vacation time is spent on smart devices and social media

and video games,

which can be beneficial

if used wisely,

but they can turn into a consumer of time and a waste of energy if balance

and supervision and guidance are absent.

It is wonderful for the vacation to become an opportunity for reading

acquiring skills

volunteering

visiting relatives

exploring the landmarks of the homeland and its projects

and participating in programs that develop personality and open horizons for the future,

for nations are not built on wishes

but rather on knowledge and action

and investing energies.

Our sons and daughters

are our true wealth

and investing in people remains the greatest and most impactful investment

and every hour invested today in

building a young man or woman

will reflect positively tomorrow on the family, society, and the homeland

and the hope remains that the vacation transforms from a season of idleness into a season of building

and from wasted time into an opportunity

to discover talents

and create ambitions

and through which a brighter future

is drawn for our sons and daughters.

And God is behind the intention..
