ترأس رئيس الوزراء اليمني الدكتور شائع الزنداني، اليوم (الإثنين)، في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن، اجتماعاً استثنائياً للحكومة، كُرّس لمناقشة التطورات الخطيرة الناجمة عن استمرار التصعيد الذي تنتهجه جماعة الحوثي الإرهابية، وفي مقدمتها استقبال رحلة جوية إيرانية جديدة قادمة إلى مطار صنعاء الخاضع لسيطرتها بالقوة، في تحدٍ سافر للسيادة الوطنية، وانتهاك واضح للقانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن، وتهديد مباشر لأمن اليمن واستقرار المنطقة.
وأكّد مجلس الوزراء أن الحكومة، وبعد استنفاد كافة المبادرات والتسهيلات التي قدمتها لتجنيب اليمن والمنطقة مزيداً من التصعيد، وفي ظل إصرار الجماعة الحوثية على رفض الحلول القانونية ومواصلة استدعاء التدخلات الخارجية، قررت اتخاذ ما يلزم من قرارات وإجراءات لحماية سيادة الدولة وردع أي تهديدات تستهدف السيادة اليمنية.
وأقر المجلس تشكيل فريق حكومي لإدارة الأزمة، يتولى تنسيق وإدارة الجهود العسكرية والسياسية والدبلوماسية والقانونية والإعلامية، ومتابعة تطورات الموقف بصورة مستمرة، واتخاذ ما يلزم والبقاء في حالة يقظة والرد السريع على أي اعتداءات أو خروقات للأجواء والسيادة اليمنية باعتبارها خطاً أحمر، بما يضمن توحيد الأداء الحكومي وسرعة اتخاذ القرار والاستجابة الفاعلة لكافة التطورات.
ووجه مجلس الوزراء وزارتي الدفاع والداخلية والجهات المختصة برفع أعلى درجات الجاهزية والاستعداد، وتمكين القوات المسلحة والأجهزة الأمنية من أداء واجباتها الدستورية في حماية سيادة الجمهورية والدفاع عن أجوائها وأراضيها ومنافذها، ومنع أي محاولات للمساس بسيادة الدولة أو فرض وقائع مخالفة للدستور والقانون وقرارات الشرعية الدولية.
وكلف المجلس وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بتكثيف تحركاتها واتصالاتها مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة والمنظمات الإقليمية والدولية، لحثها على عدم السماح باستخدام أجوائها أو أراضيها أو مرافقها لتسيير أي رحلات إلى الأراضي اليمنية خارج القنوات الرسمية المعتمدة، وبما يحترم سيادة الجمهورية اليمنية ويلتزم بالقانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة.
وحمّل مجلس الوزراء جماعة الحوثي الإرهابية المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا التصعيد الخطير وما قد يترتب عليه من تداعيات تمس أمن اليمن واستقراره، وتقوض جهود إحلال السلام، وتهدد سلامة المدنيين والبنية التحتية والملاحة والمصالح الإقليمية، نتيجة استمرارها في رفض الحلول السلمية واستدعاء التدخلات الخارجية وفرض الوقائع بالقوة.
كما حمّل النظام الإيراني المسؤولية عن استمرار دعمه للجماعة الحوثية وممارساتها المخالفة للقانون الدولي، مؤكداً أن أي دعم أو تسهيلات تسهم في تكريس هذه الانتهاكات لن تؤدي إلا إلى إطالة أمد الأزمة اليمنية، وزيادة تعقيدها، وتقويض الجهود الإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى تحقيق السلام والأمن والاستقرار في اليمن والمنطقة.
وأكد مجلس الوزراء أن الحكومة ستواصل اتخاذ جميع الإجراءات السياسية والدبلوماسية والقانونية والعسكرية التي يكفلها الدستور والقانون الدولي، دفاعاً عن سيادة الجمهورية اليمنية، وحماية أمنها القومي، والحفاظ على مصالح شعبها، ولن تسمح بأي مساس بحق الدولة الحصري في إدارة أجوائها ومنافذها ومؤسساتها السيادية.
The Yemeni Prime Minister, Dr. Sha'if Al-Zandani, chaired an extraordinary government meeting today (Monday) in the temporary capital, Aden, dedicated to discussing the serious developments resulting from the ongoing escalation by the Houthi terrorist group. This includes the arrival of a new Iranian flight to Sana'a Airport, which is under their forceful control, in a blatant challenge to national sovereignty, a clear violation of international law and Security Council resolutions, and a direct threat to Yemen's security and the stability of the region.
The Cabinet affirmed that the government, after exhausting all initiatives and facilitation efforts it provided to spare Yemen and the region further escalation, and in light of the Houthi group's insistence on rejecting legal solutions and continuing to summon external interventions, has decided to take necessary decisions and measures to protect the state's sovereignty and deter any threats targeting Yemeni sovereignty.
The Council approved the formation of a governmental team to manage the crisis, responsible for coordinating and managing military, political, diplomatic, legal, and media efforts, continuously monitoring developments, taking necessary actions, remaining vigilant, and responding swiftly to any attacks or violations of Yemeni airspace and sovereignty, considering them a red line, ensuring the unification of government performance and the rapid decision-making and effective response to all developments.
The Cabinet directed the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the relevant authorities to raise the highest levels of readiness and preparedness, enabling the armed forces and security agencies to perform their constitutional duties in protecting the sovereignty of the republic and defending its airspace, lands, and outlets, and preventing any attempts to undermine the state's sovereignty or impose facts contrary to the constitution, law, and international legitimacy decisions.
The Council tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates with intensifying its movements and communications with brotherly and friendly countries and regional and international organizations, urging them not to allow the use of their airspace, lands, or facilities to operate any flights to Yemeni territory outside the approved official channels, in a manner that respects the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen and adheres to international law and relevant Security Council resolutions.
The Cabinet held the Houthi terrorist group fully responsible for this serious escalation and any consequences that may affect Yemen's security and stability, undermine peace efforts, and threaten the safety of civilians, infrastructure, navigation, and regional interests, due to their continued rejection of peaceful solutions and summons for external interventions and the imposition of facts by force.
It also held the Iranian regime responsible for its continued support of the Houthi group and its practices that violate international law, affirming that any support or facilitation contributing to entrenching these violations will only prolong the Yemeni crisis, increase its complexity, and undermine regional and international efforts aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in Yemen and the region.
The Cabinet confirmed that the government will continue to take all political, diplomatic, legal, and military measures guaranteed by the constitution and international law, in defense of the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen, protecting its national security, and preserving the interests of its people, and will not allow any infringement on the state's exclusive right to manage its airspace, outlets, and sovereign institutions.
