أعلنت فرنسا نشر حاملة الطائرات شارل ديغول في خليج عدن استعداداً لعمليات أمنية محتملة في مضيق هرمز، وفقاً لما صرّح به المتحدث باسم الجيش.
ونقلت قناتا «العربية والحدث» عن المتحدث باسم الجيش الفرنسي الكولونيل غيّوم فيرني قوله: إن دولاً حليفة انضمّت إلى القوة الجوية والبحرية الفرنسية قرب خليج عدن، موضحاً أن هدف اقتراب الحاملة الفرنسية من مضيق هرمز هو كسب الوقت والجهوزية.
وأكّد أن فرنسا تسعى لتوحيد الجهود العسكرية لحلفائها في المنطقة.
يأتي الإعلان بعد أيام من استئناف حركة السفن تدريجياً في مضيق هرمز، عقب تراجع التصعيد العسكري في المنطقة، بينما تواصل دول عدة جهودها لضمان سلامة الملاحة في الممر الذي يعبر عبره نحو خمس تجارة النفط العالمية.
في غضون ذلك، تعهدت إيران، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، بالرد على أي انتهاك لمذكرة التفاهم الموقعة لإنهاء الحرب مع أمريكا.
وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي في مؤتمر صحفي: «لن تبقى أي خطوة دون رد، واعتداء على إيران سيتم الرد عليه فوراً»، مضيفاً: «خطوات كهذه ستكون انتهاكاً للبند الأول من مذكرة التفاهم، بطبيعة الحال، إذا تكررت هذه الانتهاكات واستمرت ستواجه متابعة هذا المسار صعوبات».
من جهة أخرى، نقلت وكالة شينخوا عن وزير الخارجية الصيني وانغ يي قوله: وقف إطلاق النار لا يزال هشاً، لكن الحوار أفضل من المواجهة، داعياً إلى الحفاظ على زخم المفاوضات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.
France announced the deployment of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle in the Gulf of Aden in preparation for potential security operations in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a statement by the army spokesperson.
The Arabic and Al-Hadath channels reported that the French army spokesperson Colonel Guillaume Fery said that allied countries have joined the French air and naval forces near the Gulf of Aden, explaining that the purpose of the French carrier approaching the Strait of Hormuz is to gain time and readiness.
He confirmed that France seeks to unify the military efforts of its allies in the region.
This announcement comes days after the gradual resumption of ship movements in the Strait of Hormuz, following a de-escalation of military tensions in the area, while several countries continue their efforts to ensure the safety of navigation in the corridor through which nearly a fifth of global oil trade passes.
Meanwhile, Iran pledged today (Tuesday) to respond to any violation of the memorandum of understanding signed to end the war with the U.S.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baqaei said at a press conference: "No action will go unanswered, and any aggression against Iran will be responded to immediately," adding: "Such actions would constitute a violation of the first clause of the memorandum of understanding, and if these violations are repeated and continue, they will face difficulties in following this path."
On another note, Xinhua News Agency reported Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi as saying: The ceasefire remains fragile, but dialogue is better than confrontation, calling for maintaining the momentum of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
