ثمن نائب رئيس جامعة تعز لشؤون الطلبة الأستاذ الدكتور رياض أحمد العقاب المواقف الأخوية الصادقة والدعم التنموي المستدام الذي تقدمه المملكة العربية السعودية، قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً، لقطاع التعليم العالي في اليمن.
وأكد الدكتور العقاب، في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ»، أن هذا الدعم الأخوي المستمر يتجسد في الدور الريادي والفاعل الذي يضطلع به «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن»، عبر تنفيذ حزمة من المشاريع الإستراتيجية الحيوية التي تخدم الإنسان اليمني بشكل مباشر، وتفتح أبواب الأمل لآلاف الطلاب والطالبات نحو بناء مستقبل أكثر نماءً واستقراراً.

نقلة إستراتيجية وبنية أكاديمية حديثة
وأكد نائب رئيس جامعة تعز أن مشروع إنشاء الكليات الصحية في الجامعة (الذي يضم كليات الطب البشري، التمريض، والصيدلة)، يمثل أحد أهم المشاريع النوعية والإستراتيجية التي تشهدها الجامعة؛ لافتاً إلى أن تلك المشاريع تعد نقلة حقيقية وملموسة في تطوير البنية التحتية التعليمية، وتهيئة بيئة تعلم أكاديمية حديثة تستجيب للمعايير العلمية المعاصرة، وتلبي في الوقت ذاته الاحتياجات المتزايدة والمتسارعة للقطاع الصحي في اليمن.
استيعاب أكبر وتجويد للمخرجات الطبية
وأشار العقاب إلى أن هذا المشروع الحيوي سيسهم بشكل جوهري في رفع وتوسيع الطاقة الاستيعابية للجامعة، وإتاحة الفرص أمام أعداد متزايدة من الطلاب والطالبات للالتحاق بالتخصصات الطبية والصحية النوعية، فضلاً عن أثره البالغ في تجويد التعليم الطبي، وتعزيز قدرات الجامعة في رفد القطاع الصحي بكوادر مؤهلة تمتلك الكفاءة العلمية والعملية العالية، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على تحسين جودة الخدمات الطبية والرعاية الصحية المقدمة للمجتمع.

استثمار في الإنسان وعمق في العلاقات
وأضاف: «إن هذا الدعم التنموي السخي يمثل استثماراً حقيقياً ومستداماً في رأس المال البشري، ويؤكد مجدداً عمق الروابط الأزلية والعلاقات الأخوية الراسخة التي تجمع بين المملكة العربية السعودية واليمن، كما يبرهن على الحرص البالغ والدائم للمملكة في إسناد ودعم مؤسسات الدولة اليمنية، وفي مقدمتها منارات التعليم العالي، باعتبارها الركيزة الأساسية والمنطلق الحقيقي لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة».

واختتم نائب رئيس جامعة تعز تصريحه بالتأكيد على الالتزام الكامل والمطلق للجامعة بكافة طواقمها الأكاديمية والإدارية بتشغيل وتوظيف هذه المشاريع والمكتسبات الحديثة بالشكل الأمثل، وبما يضمن تحقيق كامل أهدافها التنموية والتعليمية المرسومة، ويعزز مكانة جامعة تعز كصرح أكاديمي رائد في إعداد الكفاءات الوطنية المؤهلة وخدمة المجتمع اليمني.
The Vice President of Taiz University for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Riyad Ahmed Al-Aqab, praised the sincere brotherly positions and sustainable developmental support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leadership, government, and people, to the higher education sector in Yemen.
Dr. Al-Aqab confirmed, in a special statement to "Okaz," that this continuous brotherly support is embodied in the pioneering and effective role played by the "Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen," through the implementation of a package of vital strategic projects that directly serve the Yemeni people and open doors of hope for thousands of male and female students towards building a more prosperous and stable future.

A Strategic Shift and Modern Academic Infrastructure
Dr. Al-Aqab affirmed that the project to establish health colleges at the university (which includes colleges of medicine, nursing, and pharmacy) represents one of the most important qualitative and strategic projects witnessed by the university; noting that these projects constitute a real and tangible shift in developing the educational infrastructure and preparing a modern academic learning environment that meets contemporary scientific standards, while also addressing the increasing and accelerating needs of the health sector in Yemen.
Greater Capacity and Quality Improvement in Medical Outputs
Al-Aqab pointed out that this vital project will significantly contribute to raising and expanding the university's capacity, providing opportunities for an increasing number of male and female students to enroll in qualitative medical and health specialties, in addition to its profound impact on improving medical education and enhancing the university's capabilities to supply the health sector with qualified personnel who possess high scientific and practical competence, which positively reflects on improving the quality of medical services and healthcare provided to the community.
