أطلق الجيش الأوكراني مئات الطائرات المسيّرة باتجاه مناطق عدة في روسيا، اليوم (الأحد)، في واحدة من أكبر هجماته الجوية منذ اندلاع الحرب، فيما أعلنت كييف تعرضها لغارات بمسيرات وصواريخ.
وأفادت وزارة الدفاع الروسية بأنها دمرت 822 طائرة مسيّرة أوكرانية خلال الليل. وأشار رئيس بلدية موسكو سيرجي سوبيانين، إلى أن نحو 600 مسيّرة كانت متجهة نحو العاصمة الروسية، وأن نحو ثلثها دُمر فوق منطقة موسكو، وفق ما أوردت وكالة «أسوشيتد برس».
وأكدت الوزارة أنها نفذت غارات مستهدفة مصانع عسكرية ومصافي نفط في عدة مدن أوكرانية، بما فيها كييف. وشنت روسيا في الأسابيع القليلة الماضية هجمات جوية مكثفة على كييف ومدن أوكرانية أخرى.
وقال حاكم منطقة موسكو أندريه فوروبيوف إن مسيرة أوكرانية أصابت منزلاً وقتلت شخصاً. وأضاف أن هجوماً أوكرانياً تسبب في اندلاع حريق داخل مستودع تابع لشركة التجزئة الروسية العملاقة «وايلدبيريز» في مدينة بودولسك، فيما أظهرت صور نشرتها وسائل إعلام روسية أعمدة كثيفة من الدخان الأسود تتصاعد من الموقع.
وفي منطقة روستوف جنوب غربي روسيا، استهدف هجوم بالمسيّرات ثلاث بلدات، ما أودى بحياة 5 أشخاص، وفق حاكم المنطقة يوري سليوسار.
وقال حاكم روستوف إن الهجوم، الذي شاركت فيه أكثر من 150 طائرة مسيّرة، ألحق أضراراً بعدد من المنازل ومحطة للسكك الحديد، كما تسبب في اندلاع حريق في إحدى الغابات.
وكثفت أوكرانيا هجماتها داخل الأراضي الروسية خلال العام الحالي، مستخدمة صواريخ بعيدة المدى وأسراباً من الطائرات المسيّرة لاستهداف الصناعات العسكرية ومنشآت الطاقة. واستهدفت بصورة متزايدة مستودعات ضخمة تابعة لـ«وايلدبيريز»، ما تسبب في احتراق بضائع تقدر قيمتها بمليارات الدولارات، بحسب ما أوردت «أسوشيتد برس».
من جانبه، أعلن رئيس بلدية كييف فيتالي كليتشكو،، أن القوات الروسية شنت هجمات بصاروخ وطائرات مسيرة على العاصمة الأوكرانية في وقت مبكر، الأحد، ما أدى إلى اندلاع حرائق في منطقتين على الأقل بالعاصمة الأوكرانية، وفق ما أوردت وكالة «رويترز».
وأضاف كليتشكو أن الحطام المتساقط تسبب في اندلاع حريق في منطقة غير سكنية بضاحية في شمال المدينة، مشيراً إلى أن النيران اشتعلت في عدة سيارات، كما اندلع حريق في منطقة تقع جنوبي وسط المدينة مباشرة.
بدوره، أعلن الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، أن هجوماً صاروخياً روسياً على مدينة كريفي ريه، أودى بحياة شخصين وإصابة 14 آخرين. وأضاف أن شخصاً آخر لقي حتفه في مدينة سومي.
The Ukrainian army launched hundreds of drones towards several areas in Russia today (Sunday), in one of its largest airstrikes since the outbreak of the war, while Kyiv announced that it was subjected to drone and missile strikes.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it destroyed 822 Ukrainian drones overnight. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin indicated that about 600 drones were headed towards the Russian capital, and that about a third of them were destroyed over the Moscow region, according to the Associated Press.
The ministry confirmed that it carried out targeted strikes on military factories and oil refineries in several Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. Russia has launched intensive air attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities in recent weeks.
Andrei Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, stated that a Ukrainian drone hit a house, killing one person. He added that a Ukrainian attack caused a fire inside a warehouse belonging to the Russian retail giant "Wildberries" in the city of Podolsk, while images published by Russian media showed thick columns of black smoke rising from the site.
In the Rostov region in southwestern Russia, a drone attack targeted three towns, resulting in the deaths of 5 people, according to regional governor Yuri Sliusar.
The Rostov governor stated that the attack, which involved more than 150 drones, caused damage to several homes and a railway station, and also led to a fire in one of the forests.
Ukraine has intensified its attacks within Russian territory this year, using long-range missiles and swarms of drones to target military industries and energy facilities. It has increasingly targeted massive warehouses belonging to "Wildberries," causing goods worth billions of dollars to catch fire, according to the Associated Press.
For his part, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that Russian forces launched missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital early Sunday, resulting in fires in at least two areas of the Ukrainian capital, according to Reuters.
Klitschko added that falling debris caused a fire in a non-residential area in a suburb in the northern part of the city, noting that flames erupted in several cars, and a fire broke out in an area located just south of the city center.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a Russian missile attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to 14 others. He added that another person was killed in the city of Sumy.
