توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد استمرار فرص هطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة برياح نشطة وزخات من البرد، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة، تمتد إلى الأجزاء الجنوبية من مرتفعات منطقة مكة المكرمة.
أمطار وبَرَد على مرتفعات الجنوب
وأوضح المركز أن الحالة الجوية تشمل نشاطاً للسحب الرعدية الممطرة على المرتفعات الجنوبية الغربية، مع استمرار فرص تساقط البرد ونشاط الرياح الهابطة المصاحبة للحالة.
أتربة وغبار تضرب 5 مناطق
وفي المقابل، تستمر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق نجران والشرقية والرياض والمدينة المنورة، إضافة إلى أجزاء من منطقة مكة المكرمة، ولا سيما المناطق الساحلية، ما يؤدي إلى تدنٍ، قد يصل إلى انعدام أو شبه انعدام، في مدى الرؤية الأفقية.
البحر الأحمر متوسط الموج.. والخليج هادئ نسبياً
وبيّن التقرير أن الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر تكون شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و30 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وترتفع إلى ما بين 20 و40 كم/ساعة على الجزأين الأوسط والجنوبي، فيما يتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومترين، ويكون البحر خفيفاً إلى متوسط الموج.
أما في الخليج العربي، فتكون الرياح شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 15 و30 كم/ساعة، مع ارتفاع للموج من نصف متر إلى متر ونصف، فيما يكون البحر خفيفاً إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expects the continuation of chances for thunderstorm rains accompanied by active winds and hail showers today (Tuesday) in parts of the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern parts of the highlands of the Makkah region.
Rain and Hail on the Southern Highlands
The center clarified that the weather condition includes activity of rain-bearing thunderstorm clouds over the southwestern highlands, with continued chances of hail and active downdraft winds accompanying the situation.
Dust and Sand Affecting 5 Regions
In contrast, active winds stirring up dust and sand continue in parts of the Najran, Eastern, Riyadh, and Madinah regions, in addition to parts of the Makkah region, especially the coastal areas, leading to a reduction that may reach complete or near-complete absence of horizontal visibility.
The Red Sea is moderately wavy... and the Gulf is relatively calm
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 30 km/h in the northern part, increasing to between 20 and 40 km/h in the central and southern parts, while wave heights range between half a meter and two meters, with the sea being light to moderately wavy.
As for the Arabian Gulf, the winds are northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging between 15 and 30 km/h, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, while the sea is light to moderately wavy.
