زار سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين، فهد بن عبدالرحمن الدوسري، وزير الصناعة اللبناني جو عيسى الخوري، بمكتبه، في الوزارة، وبحث سبل تعزيز العلاقات والتعاون بين البلدين على الصعيدين الاقتصادي والصناعي، لا سيما في ضوء القرار السعودي الأخير السماح بدخول المنتجات اللبنانية الصناعية والزراعية إلى المملكة.
وأكد الوزير عيسى الخوري أن «هذا القرار يشكل محطة مفصلية للصناعة اللبنانية، لما يحمله من دعم مباشر للاقتصاد الوطني، ويفتح الباب أمام تعزيز الصادرات اللبنانية إلى دول الخليج».
من جهته، وصف السفير السعودي جودة الصناعات اللبنانية بـ«الممتازة»، وأن الصناعيين اللبنانيين تواقون للعودة للبناء على الثقة المتجددة بهم في المملكة.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, visited the Lebanese Minister of Industry, Joe Issa Khoury, at his office in the ministry, and discussed ways to enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries in the economic and industrial fields, especially in light of the recent Saudi decision to allow Lebanese industrial and agricultural products to enter the Kingdom.
The minister, Issa Khoury, confirmed that "this decision represents a pivotal moment for the Lebanese industry, as it provides direct support to the national economy and opens the door for enhancing Lebanese exports to Gulf countries."
For his part, the Saudi ambassador described the quality of Lebanese industries as "excellent," and noted that Lebanese industrialists are eager to build on the renewed trust in them in the Kingdom.
