«الموارد البشرية»: تمديد مهلة تصحيح أوضاع رخص العمل حتى نهاية العام الحالي

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the extension of the deadline granted to correct the status of foreign workers whose work permits have expired for more than (12) months, and workers who have not been issued work permits for more than (6) months from the date of joining the establishment, until the end of the current year. This is part of its efforts to enhance compliance with labor regulations, protect the rights of contractual parties, and enable establishments and workers to complete the necessary procedures within the specified timeframe.
The extension of the deadline is a continuation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's efforts to raise compliance levels in the labor market in the Kingdom, providing establishments and workers with an additional opportunity to rectify their situations.
The Ministry urged establishment owners and workers to take the initiative to renew or issue work permits before the specified deadline, emphasizing that failure to correct the status within the designated timeframe will result in the application of the prescribed regulatory procedures.
