ألقى الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين، فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، خطبة الجمعة في الجامع الوطني الكبير بالعاصمة النيجيرية أبوجا، وأمَّ جموعًا غفيرة من المصلّين تتقدّمهم القيادات الدينية الإسلامية النيجيرية.
وتناولت الخطبة معالمَ من «هداية القرآن الكريم للتي هي أقوم»، وجملةً من المسائل والوصايا الشرعية المهمّة للمؤمن في دينه ودنياه؛ ومن ذلك الشكر لأنعُم الله، وتعاهُدُ آداب الإسلام التي يميِّزها الثبات وعدم ازدواج المعايير في تطبيقها، وأن يحذر المسلم أن يكون مسيئاً بسلوكه إلى نفسه ودينه.
وأشاد فضيلته في خطبته بالنموذج النيجيري المتميز في قيَمه الدينية والوطنية.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, President of the Assembly of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, delivered the Friday sermon at the National Mosque in the Nigerian capital Abuja, leading a large congregation of worshippers, including prominent Nigerian Islamic religious leaders.
The sermon addressed aspects of "the guidance of the Holy Quran that is most upright," along with a number of important religious issues and recommendations for believers in their faith and worldly matters; including gratitude for God's blessings, the commitment to the morals of Islam which are characterized by stability and the absence of double standards in their application, and the warning for Muslims to avoid being harmful to themselves and their religion through their behavior.
His Eminence praised the distinguished Nigerian model in its religious and national values during his sermon.
