استكملت إدارة النادي الأهلي جميع الإجراءات النظامية الخاصة بتفعيل بند إنهاء عقد لاعب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، الجزائري رياض محرز، بعد استيفاء المتطلبات التعاقدية المنصوص عليها بين الطرفين.
وجاءت الخطوة عقب إخطار اللاعب ووكيل أعماله رسمياً بقرار إنهاء العلاقة التعاقدية قبل عدة أيام، إلى جانب سداد المقابل المالي المتفق عليه البالغ 15 مليون يورو خلال الفترة المحددة في العقد، التي تنتهي بنهاية يونيو، ليصبح إنهاء العقد نافذاً وفقاً لبنود الاتفاق المبرم بين الطرفين.
ويختتم محرز مسيرته مع الأهلي بعد فترة شهدت حضوره المؤثر مع الفريق، إذ أسهم في تحقيق لقبين بارزين تمثلا في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة وكأس السوبر السعودي، إلى جانب مساهماته الفنية في مختلف المنافسات المحلية والقارية.
ومن المنتظر أن تبدأ إدارة الأهلي التحرك لاستكمال ترتيبات المرحلة القادمة، في إطار خططها لإعادة تشكيل الفريق وتعزيز صفوفه استعداداً للموسم الجديد، الذي سيشهد مشاركة النادي في عدد من الاستحقاقات المحلية والقارية.
