أعربت وزارة الخارجية البحرينية عن إدانة بلادها بأشد العبارات الاعتداء الإيراني على أراضيها، باستهدافها مجدداً بعدد من الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيرة.
ووصفت في بيان لها اليوم هذا الاستهداف بأنه تمادٍ خطير يكشف أن ما تقدم عليه طهران ليس فعلاً عابراً أو حادثاً منفرداً، بل هو نهج متعمد ونمط ممنهج من العدوان المتكرر على سيادة البحرين وأمن مواطنيها والمقيمين على أرضها.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن معاودة هذا العدوان اليوم، تؤكد صحة تحذيرات البحرين السابقة بشأن نكث طهران لتعهداتها وبالإرادة الدولية التي جسدها قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2817 (2026)، مبينةً أن النظام الإيراني ماضٍ في نهجه دون اكتراث بالإدانات الدولية أو بالعهود التي قطعها على نفسه، مشددة على أن تكرار العدوان لن يفرض أمراً واقعاً ولن ينال من عزيمة البحرين وثبات شعبها.
وأوضحت الخارجية البحرينية أن هذا التكرار يسقط كل ذريعة ويثبت سبق الإصرار، خصوصاً أنه يأتي غداة التزامات طهران بموجب مذكرة تفاهم إسلام أباد الموقعة في 17 يونيو 2026، التي نصت على الوقف الدائم للعمليات العسكرية واحترام سيادة دول المنطقة، مما يضع طهران وحدها أمام مسؤولية تقويض فرص التهدئة والاستقرار.
ودعت مجلس الأمن الدولي إلى عقد جلسة عاجلة والاضطلاع بمسؤولياته في كفالة تنفيذ قراره رقم 2817 (2026) ووضع حدٍّ لهذا العدوان المتواصل ومحاسبة مرتكبه.
وشددت البحرين على أن هذا الاعتداء لا يستهدف البحرين وحدها، بل يمثل تهديداً مباشراً لأمن منظومة مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية بأسرها، مؤكدةً احتفاظها بكامل حقها المشروع في الدفاع عن سيادتها وأمنها وسلامة أراضيها وفقاً لما يكفله القانون الدولي، وتحميل النظام الإيراني المسؤولية الكاملة عن أي تصعيد ينتج عن استمرار اعتداءاته.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its country's condemnation in the strongest terms of the Iranian aggression against its territory, which was targeted once again by a number of ballistic missiles and drones.
In a statement today, it described this targeting as a serious escalation that reveals that what Tehran is doing is not a fleeting act or an isolated incident, but rather a deliberate approach and a systematic pattern of repeated aggression against Bahrain's sovereignty and the security of its citizens and residents.
The ministry pointed out that the recurrence of this aggression today confirms the validity of Bahrain's previous warnings regarding Tehran's breach of its commitments and the international will embodied in Security Council Resolution No. 2817 (2026), indicating that the Iranian regime continues its course without regard for international condemnations or the promises it made to itself, emphasizing that the repetition of aggression will not impose a fait accompli nor will it diminish Bahrain's resolve and the steadfastness of its people.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry clarified that this repetition nullifies all excuses and proves premeditation, especially since it comes on the heels of Tehran's commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding signed on June 17, 2026, which stipulated a permanent cessation of military operations and respect for the sovereignty of the countries in the region, thus placing Tehran solely responsible for undermining opportunities for calm and stability.
It called on the United Nations Security Council to hold an urgent session and fulfill its responsibilities in ensuring the implementation of its Resolution No. 2817 (2026) and to put an end to this ongoing aggression and hold its perpetrator accountable.
Bahrain emphasized that this aggression does not target Bahrain alone, but represents a direct threat to the security of the entire Gulf Cooperation Council system, asserting its full right to defend its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity in accordance with international law, and holding the Iranian regime fully responsible for any escalation resulting from the continuation of its aggressions.
