كشف متهم باغتيال القائم بأعمال المدير التنفيذي للصندوق الاجتماعي للتنمية في اليمن، المهندس وسام قايد، عن الجهة التي تقف وراء الجريمة.
وعرضت إدارة أمن العاصمة المؤقتة عدن اليوم (السبت) تسجيلاً مرئياً تضمن اعترافات أحد المشاركين في الجريمة، ويدعى عمر ناصر صالح، قال فيها إن الحوثيين يقفون وراء الجريمة.
وأوضح أنه يعمل سائق حافلة، وتلقى اتصالاً هاتفياً من المتهمين عبده محمد ناجي وصالح وديع حداد لنقلهما من محافظة الضالع إلى عدن، بهدف التمويه وتجنب نقاط التفتيش.
وأضاف أنه أسكنهما في منزل شقيقته، حيث أبلغاه بعزمهما تنفيذ جريمة، ثم استأجر لهما منزلاً، فيما اقتصرت مهمته على رصد تحركات الضحية.
وأشار إلى أن ابن شقيقته شارك في عملية الرصد، وأبلغ المنفذين بتحركات الضحية، مؤكداً أنه لم يشارك في تنفيذ الجريمة، وإنما اقتصر دوره على الرصد.
وأفاد بأنه كانت بحوزة المتهمين قطعتا سلاح، جرى إخفاؤهما في منزله عقب تنفيذ الجريمة، وأنه لم يتمكن من تهريبهما في اليوم نفسه بسبب التشديدات الأمنية.
وأضاف أنهم حاولوا تغيير مسار الهروب عبر محافظة أبين لتجنب النقاط الأمنية، لافتاً إلى أنه تلقى ألف ريال سعودي لإصلاح الحافلة وطُلب منه التوجه إلى صنعاء.
واستعرض التسجيل تحركات أفراد الخلية وعملية تنفيذ الجريمة، وتنقلاتهم، وأساليب التمويه التي استخدموها، إضافة إلى تفاصيل عملية القبض على المتهمين.
وأكدت إدارة أمن عدن أن القوات الأمنية مستمرة في ملاحقة وضبط بقية المتورطين الفارين، تمهيداً لتقديمهم إلى العدالة.
وكان المهندس وسام قايد قد اختُطف في الثالث من مايو 2026 من أمام منزله في حي إنماء بمدينة عدن، قبل أن يُعثر عليه بعد ساعات مقتولاً داخل سيارته في منطقة الحسوة.
A suspect in the assassination of the acting executive director of the Social Fund for Development in Yemen, engineer Wisam Qaid, revealed the entity behind the crime.
The Security Administration of the temporary capital, Aden, presented today (Saturday) a video recording that included the confessions of one of the participants in the crime, named Omar Nasser Saleh, who stated that the Houthis are behind the crime.
He explained that he works as a bus driver and received a phone call from the suspects Abdu Mohammed Naji and Saleh Wadi Haddad to transport them from Al-Dhale'e Governorate to Aden, with the aim of disguising themselves and avoiding checkpoints.
He added that he housed them in his sister's home, where they informed him of their intention to commit the crime, then he rented a house for them, while his task was limited to monitoring the victim's movements.
He pointed out that his nephew participated in the monitoring process and informed the perpetrators of the victim's movements, confirming that he did not participate in carrying out the crime, but his role was limited to observation.
He reported that the suspects had two weapons, which were hidden in his house after the crime was committed, and that he was unable to smuggle them on the same day due to heightened security measures.
He added that they attempted to change their escape route through Abyan Governorate to avoid security checkpoints, noting that he received one thousand Saudi riyals to repair the bus and was asked to head to Sana'a.
The recording showcased the movements of the cell members, the execution of the crime, their transfers, and the disguising methods they used, in addition to details of the arrest of the suspects.
The Aden Security Administration confirmed that security forces are continuing to pursue and apprehend the remaining fleeing accomplices, in preparation for bringing them to justice.
Engineer Wisam Qaid was kidnapped on May 3, 2026, from in front of his house in the Enma neighborhood of Aden city, before being found hours later murdered inside his car in the Al-Hasswa area.
