في عملية وصفت بأنها «زلزال عسكري»، بدأ الجيش الإسرائيلي، اليوم الأحد، تنفيذ خطة عسكرية تستهدف مدينة النبطية جنوب لبنان.
وأصدر الجيش الإسرائيلي أوامر إخلاء فورية، لسكان مدينة صور، والأحياء المحيطة بها، في جنوب لبنان، تمهيداً لشن غارات على المنطقة.وقال إن على سكان مدينة صور والأحياء ومخيمات البص وزقوق المفدي، إخلاء منازلكم فوراً والانتقال إلى شمال نهر الزهراني.
وأفصح موقع «واللا» الإخباري الإسرائيلي، أن قوات إسرائيلية بدأت بالفعل تنفيذ عمليات ميدانية محدودة في أطراف النبطية، بما في ذلك «استخدام روبوتات متخصصة لرصد العبوات الناسفة، وكشف الخلايا المسلحة في المنطقة».
وتشير تقديرات عسكرية إسرائيلية إلى أن استهداف النبطية قد يشكل «زلزالاً عسكرياً»، ويعد «ضربة معنوية قوية» لحزب الله، مع تأثير واسع على كامل المنطقة بين نهري الليطاني والزهراني.
وتعتقد إسرائيل أن النبطية تعد مركزاً اقتصادياً وعمرانياً مهماً جنوب لبنان، بخلاف القرى التي شهدت عمليات عسكرية سابقة، إذ تتركز فيها بنى لوجستية ومقار قيادية ومخازن أسلحة تابعة لحزب الله، إضافة إلى كونها نقطة مرور لطرق إمداد تصل إلى الحدود مع إسرائيل.
ونقل موقع «واللا» عن ضابط إسرائيلي كبير قوله: إن أي استهداف للنبطية سيكون له تأثير مباشر على كامل المنطقة الممتدة بين نهري الليطاني والزهراني، فيما أكد آخر أن «حزب الله» استغل لسنوات البعد عن الحدود والكثافة السكانية والتضاريس لإقامة مراكز قيادة وغرف عمليات ومستودعات أسلحة تابعة لوحدة بدر في المدينة.
ويتواصل القصف الإسرائيلي العنيف على مناطق متفرقة من لبنان خصوصاً
الجنوب، الأحد، وقتل جنديان إسرائيليان، أمس السبت، جنوب لبنان، أحدهما من لواء غولاني والآخر من لواء غفعاتي جنوب لبنان، حسب الجيش الإسرائيلي.
وأعلنت هيئة البث، اليوم، إصابة 4 جنود احتياط بجروح في انفجار مسيّرة أطلقها حزب الله على موقعهم داخل الأراضي اللبنانية. ومنذ إعلان وقف إطلاق النار، أعلنت إسرائيل مقتل 18 ضابطاً وجندياً خلال العمليات المستمرة.
In an operation described as a "military earthquake," the Israeli army began today, Sunday, to implement a military plan targeting the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army issued immediate evacuation orders for the residents of the city of Tyre and the surrounding neighborhoods in southern Lebanon, in preparation for airstrikes on the area. They stated that the residents of Tyre and the neighborhoods and camps of Biss and Zaqquq Al-Mafdi should evacuate their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River.
The Israeli news site "Walla" revealed that Israeli forces have already begun conducting limited field operations on the outskirts of Nabatieh, including "the use of specialized robots to detect explosive devices and uncover armed cells in the area."
Israeli military estimates suggest that targeting Nabatieh could constitute a "military earthquake" and represents a "strong moral blow" to Hezbollah, with a wide impact on the entire region between the Litani and Zahrani rivers.
Israel believes that Nabatieh is an important economic and urban center in southern Lebanon, unlike the villages that have witnessed previous military operations, as it hosts logistical infrastructures, command posts, and weapon storage facilities belonging to Hezbollah, in addition to being a transit point for supply routes leading to the border with Israel.
Walla quoted a senior Israeli officer as saying that any targeting of Nabatieh would have a direct impact on the entire area extending between the Litani and Zahrani rivers, while another confirmed that "Hezbollah" has exploited for years the distance from the border, the population density, and the terrain to establish command centers, operations rooms, and weapon depots belonging to the Badr unit in the city.
The intense Israeli bombardment continues on various areas of Lebanon, especially
the south, on Sunday, where two Israeli soldiers were killed yesterday, Saturday, in southern Lebanon, one from the Golani Brigade and the other from the Givati Brigade, according to the Israeli army.
The Broadcasting Authority announced today that 4 reserve soldiers were injured in an explosion from a drone launched by Hezbollah at their position inside Lebanese territory. Since the announcement of the ceasefire, Israel has reported the deaths of 18 officers and soldiers during the ongoing operations.
