أكدت روسيا، اليوم (الخميس)، أن الاتصالات مع الولايات المتحدة لا تزال مستمرة رغم الخلافات القائمة بشأن أوكرانيا وعدد من الملفات الدولية، منتقدةً تصريحات وزير الخارجية الأمريكي.
وقال وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف إن التصريحات الأخيرة لوزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو بشأن دعم أوكرانيا تُظهر أن ما كان يُعرف بـ«حرب بايدن» أصبح الآن «حرب ترمب»، في إشارة إلى استمرار الدعم الأمريكي للحكومة الأوكرانية.
وأشار لافروف إلى أن الأهم بالنسبة لروسيا ليس مجرد الانخراط في حوار مع الولايات المتحدة، بل ضمان تنفيذ التفاهمات والاتفاقات التي يتم التوصل إليها بين الجانبين.
من جانبه، أوضح كيريل ديمترييف، مبعوث الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، أن قنوات التواصل مع المسؤولين الأمريكيين لا تزال مفتوحة، مشيراً إلى أنه أجرى محادثات أمس مع المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر، صهر الرئيس ترمب.
ولفت إلى أن المفاوضات بين موسكو وواشنطن لم تتوقف، رغم التباينات القائمة بشأن عدد من القضايا الدولية، وفي مقدمتها الحرب في أوكرانيا.
وأضاف المبعوث الروسي أن إجراء محادثات ثلاثية تضم روسيا وأوكرانيا وأطرافاً أخرى يبقى أمراً ممكناً عندما يحين الوقت المناسب، من دون تقديم تفاصيل إضافية حول شكل هذه المفاوضات أو توقيتها المحتمل.
وفي ما يتعلق بالطاقة، أوضح المبعوث الروسي أن الإعفاءات التي منحتها الولايات المتحدة لبعض التعاملات المرتبطة بالنفط الروسي تعكس إدراك واشنطن لأهمية استقرار أسواق الطاقة العالمية، مبيناً أن هذه الخطوات تظهر أن الإدارة الأمريكية تدرك أن بعض الإجراءات المتعلقة بالنفط الروسي تسهم في الحفاظ على توازن السوق العالمية وتجنب مزيد من الاضطرابات في الإمدادات والأسعار.
وتأتي هذه التصريحات في وقت تتواصل فيه الجهود الدبلوماسية الدولية لإيجاد مخرج للحرب المستمرة منذ أكثر من 4 سنوات، وسط مساعٍ أوروبية للمشاركة في المفاوضات.
Russia confirmed today (Thursday) that communications with the United States are still ongoing despite the existing disagreements regarding Ukraine and a number of international issues, criticizing the statements made by the U.S. Secretary of State.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the recent remarks by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding support for Ukraine show that what was known as the "Biden War" has now become the "Trump War," referring to the continued U.S. support for the Ukrainian government.
Lavrov pointed out that what is most important for Russia is not just engaging in dialogue with the United States, but ensuring the implementation of the understandings and agreements reached between the two sides.
For his part, Kirill Dmitriev, envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, clarified that communication channels with U.S. officials remain open, noting that he had discussions yesterday with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law.
He emphasized that negotiations between Moscow and Washington have not stopped, despite the existing differences on a number of international issues, primarily the war in Ukraine.
The Russian envoy added that conducting trilateral talks involving Russia, Ukraine, and other parties remains possible when the right time comes, without providing additional details regarding the format of these negotiations or their potential timing.
Regarding energy, the Russian envoy explained that the exemptions granted by the United States for certain transactions related to Russian oil reflect Washington's recognition of the importance of stabilizing global energy markets, indicating that these steps show that the U.S. administration understands that some measures related to Russian oil contribute to maintaining the balance of the global market and avoiding further disruptions in supply and prices.
These statements come at a time when international diplomatic efforts continue to find a way out of the war that has been ongoing for more than 4 years, amid European attempts to participate in the negotiations.
