تأكيداً للدور الريادي الإنساني والتنموي للمملكة العربية السعودية، وضمن أعمال المنتدى الحضري العالمي الـ13 المنعقد في العاصمة الأذربيجانية «باكو»؛ نظّم البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن جلسة حوارية رفيعة المستوى، استعرضت التجربة التنموية السعودية الرائدة لانتشال القطاعات الحيوية في المحافظات اليمنية وبناء قدراتها.
وشهدت الجلسة الحوارية مشاركة رفيعة من وزارة الأشغال العامة والطرق اليمنية، وممثلين عن «البنك الدولي»، وأجمع المشاركون على أن استمرار الجهود التنموية السعودية في أوقات التحديات والأزمات شكّل طوق نجاة لليمن، وأسهم بشكل مباشر في الحفاظ على ديمومة الخدمات الأساسية، وتحسين الظروف المعيشية للشعب اليمني، فضلاً عن تعزيز الاستقرار الاجتماعي والاقتصادي في البلاد.
إشادة دولية بالجناح السعودي
وفي السياق ذاته، حظي جناح البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في المعرض المصاحب للمنتدى بإقبال وإشادة دولية واسعة. واستعرض الجناح بالأرقام والوثائق خريطة المشاريع والمبادرات التنموية للمملكة في اليمن، التي بلغت 287 مشروعاً ومبادرة حيوية.
وتتوزع هذه المشاريع المستدامة على 8 قطاعات أساسية شملت مختلف المحافظات اليمنية، وجاءت لتلبي الاحتياجات الملحة للسكان، وتسهم بفاعلية في رفع كفاءة الخدمات العامة، ودفع عجلة التنمية المستدامة، ما يعكس عمق الالتزام السعودي التاريخي بدعم استقرار ونماء اليمن.
In confirmation of the leading humanitarian and developmental role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and as part of the activities of the 13th World Urban Forum held in the Azerbaijani capital "Baku"; the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen organized a high-level dialogue session that showcased the pioneering Saudi developmental experience in uplifting vital sectors in Yemeni governorates and building their capacities.
The dialogue session witnessed high-level participation from the Yemeni Ministry of Public Works and Roads, and representatives from the "World Bank." Participants agreed that the continuation of Saudi developmental efforts during times of challenges and crises has formed a lifeline for Yemen, directly contributing to the sustainability of essential services and improving the living conditions of the Yemeni people, as well as enhancing social and economic stability in the country.
International Praise for the Saudi Pavilion
In this context, the pavilion of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen at the accompanying exhibition of the forum received wide international attention and praise. The pavilion presented, with numbers and documents, a map of the Kingdom's developmental projects and initiatives in Yemen, which amounted to 287 vital projects and initiatives.
These sustainable projects are distributed across 8 essential sectors covering various Yemeni governorates, and have come to meet the urgent needs of the population, effectively contributing to enhancing the efficiency of public services and driving sustainable development, reflecting the depth of the historical Saudi commitment to supporting the stability and growth of Yemen.
