وجه الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي، اليوم (الاثنين)، رسالة إلى نظيره الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، طالبه فيها بضرورة وقف الحرب في المنطقة، مؤكدا أنه لا أحد غيره يستطيع ذلك.
وقال السيسي خلال حفل افتتاح مؤتمر ومعرض مصر الدولي للطاقة (إيجبس) أوجه حديثي للرئيس ترمب: «من فضلك ساعدنا على إيقاف الحرب وأنت قادر على ذلك، لا أحد غيرك يستطيع إيقاف الحرب».
وأكد السيسي أن العالم يواجه الآن صدمتان في قطاع الطاقة تتمثل الأولى في نقص المعروض والثانية في ارتفاع الأسعار.
وشدد الرئيس المصري على أن استمرار الحرب قد تترتب عليه صدمة كبيرة ليس فقط بسبب غلق مضيق هرمز، ولكن أيضاً في حال استهداف منشآت الطاقة ما ستكون له تداعيات خطيرة على الاقتصاد العالمي وعلى الأسعار.
وانطلقت فعاليات مؤتمر ومعرض مصر الدولي للطاقة «إيجبس 2026» في نسخته التاسعة، اليوم (الاثنين)، وتستمر حتى 1 أبريل القادم.
وتهدف إيجبس 2026 إلى تعزيز التعاون بين القطاعين الحكومي والخاص وعرض أحدث التقنيات والابتكارات في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي والهيدروجين والطاقة المتجددة إلى جانب دعم وتمكين الشباب في قطاع الطاقة.
ويعد المؤتمر من أبرز الفعاليات في قطاع الطاقة بمنطقة شمال أفريقيا والبحر المتوسط مع مشاركة واسعة من وزراء الطاقة وقادة المنظمات الدولية المتخصصة.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a message today (Monday) to his American counterpart Donald Trump, urging him to stop the war in the region, emphasizing that no one but him can do that.
During the opening ceremony of the Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (EGYPS), El-Sisi addressed President Trump: “Please help us stop the war, and you are capable of doing that; no one else can stop the war.”
El-Sisi confirmed that the world is currently facing two shocks in the energy sector, the first being a supply shortage and the second being rising prices.
The Egyptian president stressed that the continuation of the war could lead to a significant shock, not only due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz but also in the event of targeting energy facilities, which would have serious repercussions on the global economy and prices.
The activities of the Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition “EGYPS 2026” kicked off today (Monday) in its ninth edition and will continue until April 1st.
EGYPS 2026 aims to enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors and showcase the latest technologies and innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence, hydrogen, and renewable energy, alongside supporting and empowering youth in the energy sector.
The conference is considered one of the most prominent events in the energy sector in North Africa and the Mediterranean region, with wide participation from energy ministers and leaders of specialized international organizations.
