أعلنت وزارة الداخلية البحرينية اليوم (السبت) حظر استخدام الطائرات بدون طيار (الدرون) حظراً باتاً بشكل كامل، بصرف النظر عن أغراض الاستخدام، وذلك انطلاقاً من مسؤولياتها الأمنية والقانونية لحفظ أمن وسلامة الوطن وتعزيز الحماية المدنية في ظل التعامل مع تداعيات «العدوان الإيراني الآثم».
وقالت الوزارة في بيان رسمي إنه سيتم اعتراض وتدمير أي طائرة درون مخالفة، مع اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحق المخالفين، ويبدأ العمل بهذا الحظر فوراً وحتى إشعار آخر.
ومن جهة أخرى، أعلنت قوة دفاع البحرين أنها نجحت خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية في اعتراض وتدمير 20 صاروخاً و23 طائرة مسيرة.
وناشدت القيادة العامة لقوة دفاع البحرين المواطنين والمقيمين بضرورة التقيد بأقصى درجات الحيطة والحذر، والابتعاد التام عن المواقع المتضررة، وعدم الاقتراب من أي أجسام مشبوهة، كما طالبت بعدم تصوير العمليات العسكرية أو مواقع سقوط الحطام، وتجنب تناقل الشائعات، مع الاعتماد على المصادر الرسمية والإعلام الحكومي لاستقاء المعلومات والتحذيرات.
وأكدت القيادة العامة أن استخدام الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيرة في استهداف الأعيان المدنية والممتلكات الخاصة يُعد انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، ويمثل تهديداً مباشراً للسلم والأمن الإقليميين.
وفي سياق متصل، أحالت السلطات البحرينية 14 متهماً إلى النيابة العامة، على خلفية اتهامهم بارتكاب جرائم تخابر مع الحرس الثوري الإيراني، وثبت تورط المتهمين في أعمال حربية وعدائية ضد الدولة، وانتمائهم إلى جماعات مصنفة إرهابية، وتشكيلهم خلايا منفصلة مرتبطة بهذه الجماعات.
يأتي هذا الإجراء الأمني الصارم في ظل تصعيد عسكري إقليمي حاد بدأ أواخر فبراير، حيث شنت إيران سلسلة من الهجمات بالصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيرة على عدة دول خليجية، بما فيها مملكة البحرين، وقد نجحت الدفاعات الجوية البحرينية في اعتراض وتدمير مئات الصواريخ والمسيرات منذ بداية الهجمات، في عملية وُصفت بالدقيقة والفعالة.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced today (Saturday) a complete and absolute ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), regardless of the purposes of use, based on its security and legal responsibilities to maintain the security and safety of the nation and to enhance civil protection in light of dealing with the repercussions of the "unjust Iranian aggression."
The ministry stated in an official statement that any violating drone will be intercepted and destroyed, with legal actions taken against the violators, and this ban will take effect immediately until further notice.
On another note, the Bahrain Defense Force announced that it successfully intercepted and destroyed 20 missiles and 23 drones in the past 24 hours.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force urged citizens and residents to adhere to the highest levels of caution and to stay completely away from affected sites, and not to approach any suspicious objects. It also called for refraining from photographing military operations or crash sites, and avoiding the spread of rumors, relying instead on official sources and government media for information and warnings.
The General Command confirmed that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian objects and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, and represents a direct threat to regional peace and security.
In a related context, Bahraini authorities referred 14 defendants to the Public Prosecution, following accusations of committing espionage crimes with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The defendants were found to be involved in hostile and warlike actions against the state, and their affiliation with groups classified as terrorist, forming separate cells linked to these groups.
This strict security measure comes amid a sharp regional military escalation that began in late February, during which Iran launched a series of ballistic missile and drone attacks on several Gulf countries, including the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahraini air defenses have successfully intercepted and destroyed hundreds of missiles and drones since the beginning of the attacks, in an operation described as precise and effective.
