باشرت الأجهزة الأمنية في محافظة كركوك العراقية، أمس (الثلاثاء)، تحقيقات موسعة للكشف عن ملابسات وفاة غامضة لشابة عُثر على جثتها غريقة داخل مسبح منزل عائلتها في حي «العمل الشعبي» شرقي المحافظة.
وبحسب مصدر أمني فإن الضحية، البالغة من العمر 24 عاماً، فارقت الحياة في ظروف تحيط بها الشكوك، مؤكداً أن التحريات الأولية لشرطة الأدلة الجنائية قادت إلى توجيه اتهام مباشر بالقتل لشقيق الشابة، بعد رصد مؤشرات وشواهد في مسرح الحادثة تدحض فرضية الغرق العارض.
التحقيقات مستمرة
وتواصل الجهات القضائية والأمنية استجواب المشتبه به وجمع القرائن لتثبيت الواقعة وتحديد الدوافع، تمهيداً لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية الصارمة في حال ثبوت تورطه رسمياً في تصفية شقيقته.
يُذكر أن محافظة كركوك نفسها كانت قد اهتزت قبل أيام قليلة على وقع جريمة أسرية مروعة، بعدما أقدم شاب على إنهاء حياة شقيقته الثلاثينية بـ37 طعنة نافذة إثر خلافات عائلية؛ ما يسلط الضوء مجدداً على تصاعد حدة العنف الداخلي وتأثير السلاح المنفلت في تصفية النزاعات العائلية.
The security forces in the Iraqi province of Kirkuk began extensive investigations yesterday (Tuesday) to uncover the circumstances surrounding the mysterious death of a young woman whose body was found drowned in the swimming pool of her family's home in the "Popular Labor" neighborhood in the eastern part of the province.
According to a security source, the victim, who was 24 years old, died under suspicious circumstances, confirming that the preliminary investigations by the forensic police led to a direct murder accusation against the young woman's brother, after indicators and evidence were observed at the scene that refute the theory of accidental drowning.
Investigations are ongoing
The judicial and security authorities continue to interrogate the suspect and collect evidence to establish the incident and determine the motives, in preparation for taking strict legal action if his official involvement in the murder of his sister is proven.
It is worth noting that the province of Kirkuk itself had recently been shaken by a horrific family crime, after a young man ended the life of his thirty-something sister with 37 stab wounds following family disputes; this highlights once again the rising intensity of domestic violence and the impact of unregulated weapons in settling family disputes.
