أكد رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية اليمني الدكتور شائع الزنداني على أهمية الدور الذي تضطلع به السلطات المحلية والمسؤوليات التي تقع على عاتقها باعتبارها ركيزة أساسية في مشروع استعادة فاعلية الدولة، لافتاً إلى أن نجاح أي إصلاحات اقتصادية أو إدارية يرتبط بوجود إدارة محلية قوية وشفافة وقريبة من المواطنين وقادرة على ترجمة السياسات الحكومية إلى نتائج ملموسة على الأرض.
مشيرا خلال استقباله لمحافظ محافظة الضالع الجديد اللواء أحمد قائد القبة على أن نجاح السلطة المحلية يعتمد على بناء شراكة حقيقية مع المجتمع والقيادات الاجتماعية والشبابية، والعمل بروح الفريق الواحد لتجاوز التحديات الراهنة، مؤكداً أن الحكومة ستقدم كل ما يلزم من دعم لتمكين السلطة المحلية في محافظة الضالع من أداء مهامها والقيام بواجباتها على الوجه الأمثل.
واشار إلى أن المسؤولية في هذه المرحلة تتطلب قيادة ميدانية فاعلة قادرة على إدارة التحديات وتحويل روح التضحية والصمود التي جسدها أبناء الضالع إلى مشروع استقرار وتنمية ويعيد الثقة بمؤسسات الدولة.
وجرى خلال اللقاء مناقشة الأوضاع العامة في المحافظة وأولويات عمل السلطة المحلية خلال المرحلة القادمة، والجهود المطلوبة لتعزيز الاستقرار وتحسين الخدمات وتفعيل مؤسسات الدولة.
من جانبه، عبر محافظ الضالع عن تقديره لثقة القيادة السياسية ودعم رئيس الوزراء، مؤكداً عزمه العمل بروح وطنية ومسؤولية عالية لتعزيز الاستقرار في المحافظة وتفعيل مؤسسات الدولة وتحسين الخدمات، بما يلبي تطلعات أبناء الضالع الذين قدموا تضحيات كبيرة في سبيل الوطن، مجدداً التأكيد على أن السلطة المحلية ستعمل على تعزيز الشراكة مع مختلف المكونات المجتمعية، وتكريس الجهود لخدمة المواطنين وترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار ودفع مسار التنمية في المحافظة.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Yemen, Dr. Sha'if Al-Zandani, emphasized the importance of the role played by local authorities and the responsibilities that fall on them, considering them a fundamental pillar in the project to restore the effectiveness of the state. He pointed out that the success of any economic or administrative reforms is linked to the existence of a strong, transparent local administration that is close to the citizens and capable of translating government policies into tangible results on the ground.
During his reception of the new governor of Al-Dhale'e Governorate, Major General Ahmed Qaid Al-Qubba, he indicated that the success of local authority depends on building a genuine partnership with the community and social and youth leaders, and working in a spirit of teamwork to overcome current challenges. He affirmed that the government will provide all necessary support to empower the local authority in Al-Dhale'e Governorate to perform its duties optimally.
He noted that the responsibility at this stage requires an effective field leadership capable of managing challenges and transforming the spirit of sacrifice and resilience embodied by the people of Al-Dhale'e into a project for stability and development, restoring confidence in state institutions.
During the meeting, the general situation in the governorate and the priorities of the local authority's work during the upcoming phase were discussed, along with the efforts required to enhance stability, improve services, and activate state institutions.
For his part, the governor of Al-Dhale'e expressed his appreciation for the trust of the political leadership and the support of the Prime Minister, affirming his determination to work with a national spirit and high responsibility to enhance stability in the governorate, activate state institutions, and improve services, in a way that meets the aspirations of the people of Al-Dhale'e who have made significant sacrifices for the homeland. He reiterated that the local authority will work to strengthen partnerships with various community components, dedicate efforts to serve citizens, establish security and stability, and advance the development process in the governorate.
