أعلن الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، اليوم (السبت)، استعداد بلاده لتسيير محادثات مباشرة بين إسرائيل ولبنان من خلال استضافتها في باريس، موضحاً أنه أجرى (الجمعة) مباحثات مع الرئيس اللبناني جوزاف عون، ورئيس الوزراء نواف سلام، ورئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري.
وأكد ماكرون في تدوينات على حسابه في «إكس» على ضرورة بذل كل ما من شأنه الحيلولة دون انزلاق لبنان إلى الفوضى، مضيفاً: «على حزب الله أن يوقف فوراً نهجه التصعيدي، وعلى إسرائيل أن تتخلى عن أي هجوم واسع النطاق، وأن توقف غاراتها المكثفة، في وقتٍ فرّ فيه بالفعل مئات الآلاف من السكان من القصف».
استعداد لبناني للمحادثات
ولفت إلى أن السلطة التنفيذية اللبنانية أبدت استعدادها للدخول في محادثات مباشرة مع إسرائيل. وينبغي أن تكون جميع مكونات البلاد ممثلة فيها، داعياً إسرائيل إلى اغتنام هذه الفرصة للشروع في محادثات، والتوصل إلى وقف لإطلاق النار، وإيجاد حلٍ دائم، وتمكين السلطات اللبنانية من تنفيذ التزاماتها بما يعزز سيادة لبنان.
وكانت مصادر لبنانية مطلعة قد نفت توجه وفد لبناني إلى قبرص لإجراء مفاوضات، موضحة أن تشكيل الوفد اللبناني لم ينته بعد.
وكانت صحيفة «هآرتس» الإسرائيلية قد نقلت عن من وصفتهم بـ«مصدرين مطلعين» أن ممثلين عن الجانبين يتوقع أن يعقدوا جولة مباحثات خلال الأيام القادمة، موضحة أن أحد المصدرين قال إن وزير الشؤون الاستراتيجية السابق رون ديرمر، الذي كلّفه رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بإدارة ملف لبنان، من المتوقع أن يجري مفاوضات مباشرة مع ممثلين لبنانيين.
وأشار المصدر إلى أن الولايات المتحدة تشارك أيضاً في المبادرة، وأن جاريد كوشنر، صهر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، يقود الجهود من جانب واشنطن، لكن المصدر الثاني قال إن المحادثات قد تُعقد في قبرص أو باريس، مع اعتبار قبرص حالياً المكان الأكثر ترجيحاً لاستضافة اللقاء.
ارتفاع حصيلة ضحايا القصف الإسرائيلي
بالمقابل، أعلنت الحكومة اللبنانية اليوم ارتفاع حصيلة ضحايا الغارات الإسرائيلية إلى 826 شخصاً وأكثر من ألفي جريح، مؤكدة أن إجمالي عدد النازحين المسجلين ارتفع إلى 831,882 شخصاً.
وأفادت وحدة إدارة مخاطر الكوارث في مجلس الوزراء اللبناني، في تقرير، بأن عدد النازحين المسجلين ذاتياً بلغ 831,882 شخصاً، في حين وصل إجمالي عدد النازحين في مراكز الإيواء إلى 132,419 شخصاً، موزعين على 33,902 عائلة داخل 619 مركز إيواء تم فتحها.
وأكدت الوحدة أن عدد الأعمال العدائية بلغ 1928، مشيرةً إلى أن حصيلة الخسائر البشرية خلال اليوم بلغت 53 ضحية و76 جريحاً.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced today (Saturday) that his country is ready to facilitate direct talks between Israel and Lebanon by hosting them in Paris, explaining that he held discussions (on Friday) with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri.
Macron emphasized in posts on his account on “X” the necessity of doing everything possible to prevent Lebanon from slipping into chaos, adding: “Hezbollah must immediately stop its escalatory approach, and Israel must abandon any large-scale attack and halt its intensive airstrikes, at a time when hundreds of thousands of residents have already fled from the bombardment.”
Lebanese readiness for talks
He pointed out that the Lebanese executive authority has expressed its readiness to enter into direct talks with Israel. All components of the country should be represented in these talks, urging Israel to seize this opportunity to initiate discussions, reach a ceasefire, find a permanent solution, and enable Lebanese authorities to fulfill their commitments in a way that enhances Lebanon's sovereignty.
Informed Lebanese sources had denied that a Lebanese delegation was heading to Cyprus for negotiations, clarifying that the formation of the Lebanese delegation has not yet been completed.
The Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” reported that representatives from both sides are expected to hold a round of talks in the coming days, noting that one of the sources said that former Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, who was tasked by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to manage the Lebanon file, is expected to conduct direct negotiations with Lebanese representatives.
The source indicated that the United States is also participating in the initiative, and that Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is leading the efforts from Washington, but the second source said that the talks could be held in Cyprus or Paris, with Cyprus currently considered the most likely location to host the meeting.
Increase in the toll of Israeli airstrike victims
Meanwhile, the Lebanese government announced today that the toll of victims from Israeli airstrikes has risen to 826 people and more than two thousand injured, confirming that the total number of registered displaced persons has increased to 831,882 individuals.
The Disaster Risk Management Unit in the Lebanese Council of Ministers reported in a statement that the number of self-registered displaced persons reached 831,882 individuals, while the total number of displaced persons in shelters reached 132,419 individuals, distributed among 33,902 families within 619 shelters that have been opened.
The unit confirmed that the number of hostile actions has reached 1,928, noting that the toll of human losses during the day amounted to 53 victims and 76 injured.
