قلل أمين المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي في إيران علي لاريجاني اليوم (الثلاثاء) من أهمية تهديدات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بتكثيف الهجوم على إيران حال توقف تدفق النفط عبر مضيق هرمز.
وكتب لاريجاني في منشور على «إكس»: «الشعب الإيراني لا يخشى تهديداتكم الجوفاء فقد عجز أكبر منكم عن محوه، فاحذروا أن تكونوا أنتم من يزول»، مضيفاً: مضيق هرمز إما أن يكون مضيق انفراج للجميع أو يتحول لمضيق اختناق للحالمين بالحروب.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب حذر في وقت سابق اليوم، من أن الولايات المتحدة سترد بقوة ساحقة في حال أقدمت إيران على تعطيل تدفق النفط عبر مضيق هرمز، مؤكداً أن أي خطوة من جانب إيران لوقف حركة النفط في المضيق ستقابل بضربات أمريكية أقسى بعشرين مرة من أي ضربات سابقة تعرضت لها طهران.
وهدد إيران بالموت قائلاً: «سيحل على إيران الموت والنار والغضب إذا أوقفت تدفق النفط من مضيق هرمز».
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council in Iran, Ali Larijani, downplayed the significance of U.S. President Donald Trump's threats today (Tuesday) to intensify attacks on Iran if the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz is disrupted.
Larijani wrote in a post on "X": "The Iranian people are not afraid of your empty threats; those greater than you have failed to erase us, so beware that you may be the ones who vanish," adding: "The Strait of Hormuz should either be a strait of relief for everyone or turn into a strait of suffocation for those dreaming of wars."
Earlier today, President Donald Trump warned that the United States would respond with overwhelming force if Iran disrupted the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that any move by Iran to halt oil movement in the strait would be met with American strikes twenty times harsher than any previous attacks on Tehran.
He threatened Iran with death, saying: "Death, fire, and fury will come upon Iran if it stops the flow of oil from the Strait of Hormuz."
