أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الإماراتية، اليوم (الأحد)، أن القوات الجوية والدفاع الجوي نجحت منذ بدء الهجوم الإيراني، في التعامل مع وتدمير 137 صاروخاً باليستياً و209 طائرات مسيّرة أُطلقت باتجاه أراضي الدولة.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان الجاهزية العالية لمنظومات الدفاع الجوي وقدرتها على التعامل مع مختلف التهديدات، موضحة أنه «منذ بدء الهجوم تم رصد 137 صاروخاً باليستياً إيرانياً تم إطلاقه تجاه الدولة، حيث تم تدمير 132 صاروخاً، فيما سقط 5 منها في مياه البحر، كما تم رصد 209 طائرات مسيّرة إيرانية، وتم اعتراض 195 منها، فيما وقعت 14 منها داخل أراضي ومياه الدولة، وتسببت ببعض الأضرار الجانبية».
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أنه نتيجة التصدي الفعّال للصواريخ والمسيّرات، سقطت بعض الشظايا في مناطق متفرقة في الدولة، مما أدى إلى حدوث أضرار مادية بسيطة في عدد من الأعيان المدنية، مبينة أن الجهات المختصة تحركت على الفور بكامل جاهزيتها وإمكاناتها للتعامل مع الوضع وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة في مثل هذه الحالات، وتم اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لضمان سلامة السكان وتأمين المواقع المتأثرة.
ودانت الوزارة الهجوم بأشد العبارات، مؤكدة «رفض الدولة القاطع لمثل هذه الأعمال التي تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وعملاً جباناً يهدد أمن وسلامة المدنيين ويقوض الاستقرار».
وأشارت إلى أن «هذا الاستهداف يُعد انتهاكاً صارخاً للسيادة الوطنية وللقانون الدولي، وأن الدولة تحتفظ بحقها الكامل في الرد على هذا التصعيد واتخاذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية أراضيها وشعبها والمقيمين فيها، وبما يضمن صون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها ويحمي مصالحها ومقدراتها الوطنية»، موضحة أنها على أهبة الاستعداد والجاهزية للتعامل مع أية تهديدات، وأنها «تتخذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة للتصدي بحزم لكل ما يستهدف زعزعة أمن الدولة واستقرارها».
وأكدت أن «سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين والزوار تمثل أولوية قصوى لا يمكن التهاون فيها».
وفي ذات السياق، أعلن المكتب الإعلامي لحكومة دبي، أن حادثاً وقع في مطار دبي الدولي (DXB) قبل قليل، موضحاً في بيان على منصة «إكس»: «أكدت مطارات دبي وقوع حادث في مطار دبي الدولي (DXB) قبل قليل، وقد تم تفعيل فرق الاستجابة الطارئة على الفور حيث يتم التعامل مع الحادث بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة».
وأضاف: «أسفر الحادث عن وقوع 4 إصابات، وتم تقديم المساعدة الطبية العاجلة اللازمة لهم، وسيتم بث المعلومات المُحدّثة حال ورودها».
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced today (Sunday) that the Air Force and Air Defense successfully dealt with and destroyed 137 ballistic missiles and 209 drones launched towards the country's territory since the start of the Iranian attack.
The ministry clarified in a statement the high readiness of the air defense systems and their ability to handle various threats, explaining that "since the beginning of the attack, 137 Iranian ballistic missiles targeting the country have been detected, of which 132 were destroyed, while 5 fell into the sea. Additionally, 209 Iranian drones were detected, with 195 intercepted, while 14 landed within the country's territory and waters, causing some collateral damage."
The ministry noted that as a result of the effective response to the missiles and drones, some debris fell in various areas of the country, leading to minor material damage to several civilian properties. It indicated that the relevant authorities immediately mobilized with full readiness and capabilities to handle the situation according to the approved procedures in such cases, and necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of residents and secure the affected sites.
The ministry condemned the attack in the strongest terms, affirming "the country's absolute rejection of such acts, which represent a serious escalation and a cowardly act that threatens the safety and security of civilians and undermines stability."
It pointed out that "this targeting constitutes a blatant violation of national sovereignty and international law, and the country reserves its full right to respond to this escalation and take all necessary measures to protect its territory, people, and residents, ensuring the preservation of its sovereignty, security, stability, and protecting its national interests and resources," clarifying that it is on high alert and ready to deal with any threats, and that it "is taking all necessary measures to firmly confront anything that targets the security and stability of the state."
It emphasized that "the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors is a top priority that cannot be compromised."
In the same context, the Dubai Government Media Office announced that an incident occurred at Dubai International Airport (DXB) a short while ago, clarifying in a statement on the "X" platform: "Dubai Airports confirmed that an incident occurred at Dubai International Airport (DXB) a short while ago, and emergency response teams were activated immediately to handle the incident in coordination with the relevant authorities."
It added: "The incident resulted in 4 injuries, and urgent medical assistance has been provided to them, and updated information will be broadcast as it becomes available."
