وقّع المشرف العام للبرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين محمد سعيد آل جابر مع وزير المالية اليمني مروان فرج سعيد بن غانم اتفاقية بدء إيداع الدعم الاقتصادي البالغ 1.3 مليار ريال سعودي، المخصص لمعالجة عجز الموازنة ودعم النفقات التشغيلية والرواتب.
يأتي هذا الدعم ليُسهم في انتظام الدخل، وتعزيز القوة الشرائية، وتمكين المؤسسات الحكومية من مواصلة أداء مهامها بكفاءة، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على استقرار الاقتصاد الكلي ودفع مسار التعافي المستدام في اليمن.
استجابة للاحتياجات العاجلة للحكومة اليمنية، وحرصاً من المملكة على تحقيق الاستقرار والنماء للشعب اليمني الشقيق.
ويهدف الدعم إلى إرساء مقومات الاستقرار الاقتصادي والمالي في اليمن، وتقليل عجز الموازنة، وانتظام التدفقات المالية الحكومية وصرف الرواتب، إضافة إلى تحسين إدارة السياسة المالية، بما يؤدي إلى وضع الاقتصاد الوطني في مسار أكثر استدامة، ودفع مسيرة التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
وينعكس الدعم الاقتصادي الجديد إيجاباً على تعزيز القوة الشرائية، وانتظام الدخل للأسر، وتحسين مستوى المعيشة، وكذلك تنشيط الأسواق التجارية، بما يسهم في تعزيز الاستقرار الاقتصادي ودعم التعافي المستدام في اليمن.
وتُعد المملكة العربية السعودية أكبر داعم تاريخي لليمن إنسانياً وتنموياً واقتصادياً، وقد شكّلت التدخلات التنموية والاقتصادية إحدى الدعائم الرئيسية نحو التعافي الاقتصادي على المستويين الكلي والجزئي في اليمن.
وجسّدت سلسلة الدعم الاقتصادي والتنموي المقدمة من المملكة بقيمة تجاوزت 12.6 مليار دولار للفترة بين 2012 وحتى 2026 ركيزة أساسية في تعزيز قدرة المؤسسات اليمنية على مواصلة تقديم الخدمات للشعب اليمني، وتخفيف حدة الضغوط الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، منها ودائع ومنح لصالح البنك المركزي اليمني، تحقيقاً لمستوى التوازن المالي ودعم استقرار الاقتصاد الكلي.
وحققت التدخلات التنموية عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن أثراً إيجابياً في ترسيخ أسس التنمية المستدامة، والحد من الآثار الإنسانية والاقتصادية، وتحقيق تنمية شاملة تعود بالنفع على الأجيال الحاضرة والمستقبلية.
وقدم البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن مصفوفة من المشاريع والمبادرات التنموية في 8 قطاعات حيوية وأساسية، بلغت 268 مشروعاً ومبادرة تنموية، بتكلفة إجماليّة تجاوزت مليار دولار، أسهمت في رفع كفاءة البنية التحتية والخدمات الأساسية، وتحسين مستوى المعيشة، وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي، وبناء قدرات الكوادر اليمنية، وتوفير فرص العمل، بما يسهم في دفع جهود إرساء سلام مستدام يحقق تنمية مستدامة وشاملة للأشقاء في اليمن.
The General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Mohammed Saeed Al-Jaber, signed an agreement with the Yemeni Minister of Finance Marwan Faraj Saeed Bin Ghanem to begin depositing the economic support amounting to 1.3 billion Saudi Riyals, allocated to address the budget deficit and support operational expenses and salaries.
This support comes to contribute to the regularity of income, enhance purchasing power, and enable government institutions to continue performing their tasks efficiently, which positively reflects on the stability of the macroeconomy and drives the path of sustainable recovery in Yemen.
In response to the urgent needs of the Yemeni government, and with the Kingdom's keenness to achieve stability and growth for the brotherly Yemeni people.
The support aims to establish the foundations of economic and financial stability in Yemen, reduce the budget deficit, ensure the regular flow of government finances and salary payments, in addition to improving financial policy management, leading to placing the national economy on a more sustainable path and advancing the economic and social development process.
The new economic support positively reflects on enhancing purchasing power, ensuring regular income for families, improving living standards, as well as revitalizing commercial markets, contributing to strengthening economic stability and supporting sustainable recovery in Yemen.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered the largest historical supporter of Yemen in humanitarian, developmental, and economic aspects, and developmental and economic interventions have formed one of the main pillars towards economic recovery at both the macro and micro levels in Yemen.
The series of economic and developmental support provided by the Kingdom, amounting to over $12.6 billion from 2012 to 2026, has represented a fundamental pillar in enhancing the capacity of Yemeni institutions to continue providing services to the Yemeni people and alleviating the severity of economic and social pressures, including deposits and grants for the Central Bank of Yemen, achieving a level of financial balance and supporting macroeconomic stability.
The developmental interventions through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen have had a positive impact on establishing the foundations of sustainable development, reducing humanitarian and economic impacts, and achieving comprehensive development that benefits present and future generations.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has provided a matrix of developmental projects and initiatives in 8 vital and essential sectors, totaling 268 developmental projects and initiatives, with a total cost exceeding one billion dollars, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of infrastructure and basic services, improving living standards, strengthening food security, building the capacities of Yemeni personnel, and providing job opportunities, which contributes to advancing efforts to establish sustainable peace that achieves sustainable and comprehensive development for our brothers in Yemen.
