في إطار الجهود السعودية لدعم اليمن عبر إشراك وتعزيز التعاون الدولي، أعلن كلٌّ من الاتحاد الأوروبي والبرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن توحيد جهودهما الهادفة إلى تحسين سبل العيش لليمنيين، وذلك من خلال الاستثمار في برامج التعافي الاقتصادي والإصلاحات وخلق فرص العمل وتعزيز مؤسسات الدولة ودعم صمود المجتمع بما يشمل مجالات الأمن الغذائي والزراعة والكهرباء والمياه والإصحاح البيئي.
ووقّع كلٌّ من الاتحاد الأوروبي والبرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن اليوم (الإثنين) اتفاقية مع مؤسسة صلة للتنمية لتنفيذ مشروع «تعزيز الأمن المائي في محافظة مأرب» بقيمة إجمالية تتجاوز 9 ملايين ريال سعودي. ويهدف المشروع إلى تغطية 9 مناطق في 3 مديريات (مأرب الوادي، ومأرب المدينة، وحريب).

ويجسّد هذا التوقيع حرص البرنامج السعودي على تنمية وإعمار اليمن، والاتحاد الأوروبي على العمل المشترك والتنسيق المستمر من أجل تحسين الظروف المعيشية لأبناء الشعب اليمني كافة.
واتفق الجانبان على مواصلة التنسيق واستكشاف فرص إضافية للتعاون في قطاع المياه، إلى جانب مشاريع ومبادرات تنموية مشتركة في قطاعات أخرى.
توقيع الاتفاق والشراكة.
وجرت مراسم توقيع الاتفاقية مع المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة صلة للتنمية علي حسن باشماخ، بحضور المشرف العام على البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن السفير محمد بن سعيد آل جابر، وسفير الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى اليمن باتريك سيمونيه. وتحرص الاتفاقية على التعاون الإستراتيجي المشترك، وتعزيز التنسيق المؤسسي، وتكامل الجهود التنموية، وتعظيم الأثر المستدام للتدخلات التنموية في اليمن.
أوروبيون ويمنيون.
As part of Saudi efforts to support Yemen through engaging and enhancing international cooperation, both the European Union and the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen announced the unification of their efforts aimed at improving the livelihoods of Yemenis, through investment in economic recovery programs, reforms, job creation, strengthening state institutions, and supporting community resilience, including areas such as food security, agriculture, electricity, water, and environmental sanitation.
Today (Monday), the European Union and the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen signed an agreement with Sila Foundation for Development to implement the project "Enhancing Water Security in Marib Governorate" with a total value exceeding 9 million Saudi Riyals. The project aims to cover 9 areas in 3 districts (Marib Al-Wadi, Marib City, and Harib).

This signing embodies the Saudi Program's commitment to the development and reconstruction of Yemen, and the European Union's dedication to joint work and continuous coordination to improve the living conditions of all Yemeni citizens.
The two sides agreed to continue coordination and explore additional opportunities for cooperation in the water sector, in addition to joint development projects and initiatives in other sectors.
توقيع الاتفاق والشراكة.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was held with the Executive Director of Sila Foundation for Development, Ali Hassan Bashmakh, in the presence of the General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, and the European Union Ambassador to Yemen, Patrick Simonnet. The agreement aims for strategic joint cooperation, enhancing institutional coordination, integrating development efforts, and maximizing the sustainable impact of developmental interventions in Yemen.
