وقّع الصومال والاتحاد الأوروبي أمس (الخميس) اتفاقية تعاون بقيمة (102) مليون دولار، تهدف إلى دعم جهود التنمية الاجتماعية في مختلف أنحاء البلاد.
وقال وزير المالية الصومالي بيهي إيمان عيغي إن الاتفاقية تركز على تطوير قطاع التعليم من خلال تحسين البنية التحتية والتجهيزات التعليمية، ورفع جودة العملية التعليمية، إلى جانب التوسع في إنشاء المؤسسات التعليمية.
وأضاف أن نحو (30) مليون دولار من قيمة الاتفاقية خُصصت لدعم الميزانية الوطنية، بما يسهم في تعزيز الاستقرار المالي للدولة.
Somalia and the European Union signed a cooperation agreement yesterday (Thursday) worth (102) million dollars, aimed at supporting social development efforts across the country.
Somali Finance Minister Behi Iman Aighi stated that the agreement focuses on developing the education sector by improving infrastructure and educational facilities, enhancing the quality of the educational process, and expanding the establishment of educational institutions.
He added that about (30) million dollars of the agreement's value has been allocated to support the national budget, contributing to strengthening the country's financial stability.
