ألقى الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب خطاباً من البيت الأبيض بشأن سياسات إدارته.
وقال ترمب للأمريكيين في خطابه: «الآن، لديكم رئيس يناضل من أجل الشعب الملتزم بالقانون والمجتهد في بلادنا، أولئك الذين يديرون شؤون هذه الأمة ويجعلونها تعمل»، مضيفاً: «بعد عام واحد فقط، حققنا أكثر مما كان يتخيله أي شخص».
وأكد الرئيس الأمريكي أنه حين تولى المنصب كان التضخم في أسوأ حالاته منذ 48 عامًا، مما أدى إلى ارتفاع الأسعار إلى مستويات غير مسبوقة، وجعل الحياة باهظة الثمن لملايين الأمريكيين. وأضاف: على مدار الأشهر الـ 11 الماضية، حققنا تغييرات إيجابية في واشنطن أكثر من أي وقت مضى.
أنهيت النووي الإيراني
وتابع ترمب: «على مدى السنوات الأربع الماضية، حكمت الولايات المتحدة من قبل سياسيين لم يقاتلوا إلا من أجل المقربين، والمهاجرين غير الشرعيين، والمجرمين المحترفين، وجماعات الضغط التابعة للشركات، والسجناء، والإرهابيين، وقبل كل شيء، الدول الأجنبية التي استغلتنا إلى مستويات لم نشهدها من قبل».
وقال: «انخفضت كميات المخدرات التي يتم تهريبها عبر المحيطات والبحار بنسبة 94%. لقد حطمنا قبضة المتطرفين اليساريين المتشددين في مدارسنا، لقد أعدتُ القوة الأمريكية، وأنهيتُ 8 حروب في عشرة أشهر، ودمرتُ التهديد النووي الإيراني، وأنهيتُ الحرب في غزة، محققًا بذلك، ولأول مرة منذ 3000 عام، السلام في الشرق الأوسط».
U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a speech from the White House regarding his administration's policies.
Trump told Americans in his speech: "Now, you have a president who fights for the law-abiding and hardworking people in our country, those who run the affairs of this nation and make it work," adding: "In just one year, we have achieved more than anyone could have imagined."
The U.S. President confirmed that when he took office, inflation was at its worst in 48 years, leading to prices rising to unprecedented levels and making life expensive for millions of Americans. He added: "Over the past 11 months, we have achieved more positive changes in Washington than ever before."
I ended the Iranian nuclear deal
Trump continued: "For the past four years, the United States has been ruled by politicians who only fought for their close friends, illegal immigrants, professional criminals, corporate lobbyists, prisoners, terrorists, and above all, foreign countries that exploited us to levels we have never seen before."
He said: "The amounts of drugs being smuggled across oceans and seas have decreased by 94%. We have shattered the grip of radical left-wing extremists in our schools, I have restored American strength, ended 8 wars in ten months, destroyed the Iranian nuclear threat, and ended the war in Gaza, achieving, for the first time in 3000 years, peace in the Middle East."
