أعلن «البيت الأبيض»، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن الرئيس دونالد ترمب وقّع أمراً تنفيدياً لفرض المزيد من القيود على دخول الولايات المتحدة لتشمل 15 دولة، معظمها من قارة أفريقيا.
وقال «البيت الأبيض» إن الولايات المتحدة فرضت قيوداً وشروطاً على دخول مواطني 5 دول، وهي بوركينا فاسو، ومالي، والنيجر، وجنوب السودان، وسورية، إضافة إلى القائمة الأولية التي تضم 12 دولة، موضحة أن الأمر التنفيذي يضيف قيوداً جزئية وحدوداً على دخول مواطني 15 دولة إضافية، وهي أنجولا، وأنتيجوا، وبربودا، وبنين، وكوت ديفوار، ودومينيكا، والجابون، وجامبيا، ومالاوي، وموريتانيا، ونيجيريا، والسنغال، وتنزانيا، وتونجا، وزامبيا، وزيمبابوي.
وأشار إلى أنه تم فرض قيود أيضاً على الأفراد الحاملين وثائق سفر صادرة عن السلطة الفلسطينية.
وكان ترمب، قد أعلن في نوفمبر الماضي، أن إدارته ستعمل على وقف الهجرة إلى بلاده بشكل دائم من جميع دول العالم الثالث، حتى يتعافى النظام الأمريكي بالكامل، على حد وصفه.
ولفت إلى أنه سينهي جميع المزايا والإعانات الفيدرالية لـ«غير المواطنين»، وسيقوم «بسحب الجنسية من المهاجرين الذين يقوّضون السلم الداخلي، ويرحل أي أجنبي يشكل عبئاً عاماً أو خطراً أمنياً أو غير متوافق مع الحضارة الغربية.
من جهة أخرى، قال»البيت الأبيض" إن ترمب سيتوجه لدويلاوير غداً لاستقبال جثامين الجنود القتلى في سورية.
The White House announced today (Tuesday) that President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to impose further restrictions on entry to the United States, affecting 15 countries, most of which are in Africa.
The White House stated that the United States has imposed restrictions and conditions on the entry of citizens from 5 countries: Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, and Syria, in addition to the initial list of 12 countries. It clarified that the executive order adds partial restrictions and limits on the entry of citizens from an additional 15 countries: Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Dominica, Gabon, Gambia, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Tonga, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
It was noted that restrictions have also been imposed on individuals holding travel documents issued by the Palestinian Authority.
Trump had announced last November that his administration would work to permanently halt immigration to the United States from all third-world countries until the American system fully recovers, as he described it.
He pointed out that he would end all federal benefits and assistance for "non-citizens," and would "strip citizenship from immigrants who undermine domestic peace, and deport any foreigner who poses a public burden or security threat or is incompatible with Western civilization.
On another note, the White House stated that Trump will head to Delaware tomorrow to receive the bodies of the soldiers killed in Syria.
