فرضت السلطات السورية اليوم (الأحد) حظر تجوال مؤقت من الساعة الخامسة مساء حتى الخامسة صباحاً في محافظة حمص وسط البلاد، عقب جريمة قتل راح ضحيتها رجل وزوجته.
وعزّزت قوات الأمن الداخلي انتشارها في بلدة زيدل بريف حمص بعد جريمة قتل، ودعت الأهالي إلى التحلي بضبط النفس وتجنّب أي ردود فعل قد تؤدي إلى توترات أوسع.
وأعلن قائد الأمن الداخلي في حمص العميد مرهف النعسان أن رجلاً وزوجته عثر عليهما مقتولَين داخل منزلهما في بلدة زيدل جنوبي المدينة، مع إشارة إلى أن جثة الزوجة كانت قد أُحرقت بعد مقتلها.
وأضاف أن التحقيقات الأولية كشفت وجود عبارات ذات طابع طائفي مكتوبة في موقع الجريمة، ما يوحي بمحاولة مبيّتة لإثارة الفتنة بين أبناء المنطقة.
وأكد النعسان أن الجهات الأمنية فتحت تحقيقاً واسعاً لكشف ملابسات الجريمة، وتحديد هوية الجناة وضبطهم، مشدداً على أن «الهدف من هذا العمل الإجرامي واضح، وهو توتير الخطاب الطائفي، وزعزعة النسيج الاجتماعي».
وتحدثت مصادر محلية أن أفراداً من قبيلة بني خالد قاموا باقتحام ضاحية الباسل، التي يسكنها عدد من المواطنين من الطائفة العلوية، بينهم ضباط سابقون في النظام، بدعوى «الثأر» للضحية، معتقدين أن مرتكبي الجريمة من سكان تلك المنطقة.
وحذّرت قوات الأمن من أن مثل هذه التصرفات قد تؤدي إلى تصعيد خطير، داعية الجميع إلى ترك الأمر للجهات المختصة.
وطالب العميد النعسان الأهالي بالثبات وعدم الانجرار وراء الشائعات أو الدوافع الانتقامية، لافتاً إلى أن قوى الأمن تعمل بحيادية ومسؤولية لضمان سلامة المواطنين وتحقيق العدالة.
وانتشر على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي مقطع فيديو يُظهر حرق مركبات وسماع أصوات رصاص غزير.
The Syrian authorities imposed a temporary curfew today (Sunday) from 5 PM to 5 AM in the province of Homs in central Syria, following a murder that claimed the lives of a man and his wife.
Internal security forces reinforced their presence in the town of Zaidal in the Homs countryside after the murder, urging residents to exercise restraint and avoid any reactions that could lead to wider tensions.
Brigadier General Marhaf Al-Nassan, the head of internal security in Homs, announced that a man and his wife were found murdered inside their home in the town of Zaidal, south of the city, noting that the wife’s body had been burned after her death.
He added that initial investigations revealed the presence of sectarian phrases written at the crime scene, suggesting a premeditated attempt to incite strife among the area's residents.
Al-Nassan confirmed that security agencies have launched a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances of the crime, identify the perpetrators, and apprehend them, emphasizing that “the goal of this criminal act is clear, which is to escalate sectarian rhetoric and destabilize the social fabric.”
Local sources reported that members of the Bani Khalid tribe stormed the Al-Basel neighborhood, which is home to several citizens from the Alawite sect, including former officers in the regime, claiming to seek “revenge” for the victim, believing that the perpetrators of the crime are residents of that area.
Security forces warned that such actions could lead to serious escalation, calling on everyone to leave the matter to the relevant authorities.
Brigadier General Al-Nassan urged residents to remain steadfast and not to fall for rumors or vengeful motives, pointing out that security forces are working impartially and responsibly to ensure the safety of citizens and achieve justice.
A video clip circulated on social media shows vehicles being burned and the sound of heavy gunfire.
