انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى، عمدة حي الروابي (كيلو 7) عاتق بن مفرح المقاطي، الذي وافته المنية بعد مسيرة حافلة بالعطاء في خدمة مجتمعه، إذ عُرف (رحمه الله) بدوره الاجتماعي البارز، وإسهاماته في إصلاح ذات البين، وخدمة أهالي الحي في جدة.
وكان الفقيد عضواً في مجلس إدارة نادي الربيع بجدة، وأسهم في دعم الأنشطة الرياضية والاجتماعية، ما أكسبه محبة وتقدير الجميع.
ويتقبل أبناء الفقيد العزاء، وفي مقدمتهم اللواء سفر بن عاتق، والعميد مسفر، ومشبب، والمهندس زعم، والمقدم بندر.
«عكاظ» التي آلمها النبأ، تتقدم بخالص التعازي وصادق المواساة لأسرة الفقيد وذويه، سائلين الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته، ويسكنه فسيح جناته، ويلهم أهله الصبر والسلوان.
The mayor of the Al-Rawabi neighborhood (Kilometer 7), Atik bin Mufarrah Al-Muqati, has passed away, may God have mercy on him. He left this world after a fruitful journey of giving in service to his community, as he was known (may God have mercy on him) for his prominent social role, his contributions to reconciliation, and his service to the residents of the neighborhood in Jeddah.
The deceased was a member of the board of directors of the Al-Rabi Club in Jeddah and contributed to supporting sports and social activities, which earned him the love and respect of everyone.
The children of the deceased are receiving condolences, led by Major General Safar bin Atik, Colonel Musfer, Mushabbab, Engineer Zaem, and Major Bandar.
