استقبل محافظ الخرج الأمير فهد بن محمد بن سعد بن عبدالعزيز اليوم (الأحد) عميد كلية التقنية بالخرج المهندس أحمد بن عبدالرحمن المساعد، وعدداً من قيادات الكلية والمتدربين.
واطّلع محافظ الخرج خلال اللقاء على عرض موجز عن برامج وإنجازات الكلية، حيث حصلت الكلية على الميدالية البرونزية في معرض جنيف الدولي للاختراعات بسويسرا، إضافة إلى تحقيق فريق الكلية بالتحالف المركز الثاني في مسار جائزة أبطال البطولة ضمن المسابقة الوطنية «VEX U 2026» لطلاب الكليات والجامعات، التي أهلتهم لتمثيل المنتخب السعودي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لبطولة «VEX U» العالمية، كما حقق فريق الكلية بالتحالف جائزة التميز في فئة الكليات والجامعات بمسابقة الروبوت والذكاء الاصطناعي «RATC 2025».
ونوَّه بما توليه القيادة الرشيدة من دعم غير محدود لخدمة الوطن في المجالات كافة، ومنه ما يتعلق بالمؤسسة العامة للتدريب التقني والمهني وما تقدمه من برامج لخدمة الشباب وتلبية احتياجات سوق العمل.
وأشاد الأمير فهد بن محمد بهذه المنجزات التي تضاف لإنجازات الكلية على مستوى المملكة، مشيداً بما حققه المتدربون، متمنياً لهم التوفيق والسداد.
The Governor of Al-Kharj, Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, today (Sunday) received the Dean of the Technical College in Al-Kharj, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulrahman Al-Musaid, along with a number of college leaders and trainees.
During the meeting, the Governor of Al-Kharj was briefed on a summary of the college's programs and achievements, where the college received a bronze medal at the Geneva International Exhibition for Inventions in Switzerland. Additionally, the college's team, in alliance, achieved second place in the Champions Path of the national competition "VEX U 2026" for college and university students, which qualified them to represent the Saudi team in the United States for the "VEX U" World Championship. The college's team also won the Excellence Award in the college and university category at the "RATC 2025" Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition.
The Governor highlighted the unlimited support provided by the wise leadership for the service of the nation in all fields, including what pertains to the Public Authority for Technical and Vocational Training and the programs it offers to serve youth and meet the labor market's needs.
Prince Fahd bin Mohammed praised these achievements, which add to the college's accomplishments at the national level, commending what the trainees have achieved and wishing them success and prosperity.
