في ليلة من ليالي الوفاء والاعتراف بالعطاء، كرمت الهيئة العالمية لتبادل المعرفة ثلاثة من أعلام التعليم في منطقة مكة المكرمة، وهم؛ الدكتور احمد بن محمد الزايدي، حامد بن جابر السلمي، وعبدالله بن محمد الهويمل، وعبدالله بن محمد المليص، خلال احتفالية «يوم الوفاء 2025» التي خُصصت لتكريم رواد التربية والتعليم من جيل العطاء، بحضور قيادات تربوية وشخصيات أكاديمية ومجتمعية.
جاء هذا التكريم تتويجاً لمسيرة حافلة امتدت لعقود، قدم فيها المكرمون عصارة فكرهم وتجربتهم في بناء التعليم السعودي الحديث، وأسهموا في تشكيل وعي الأجيال وبناء النماذج القيادية في الميدان التربوي.
الزايدي ..رمز للبحث والتطوير التربوي
الدكتور أحمد الزايدي أكاديمي وباحث تربوي سعودي بارز حصل على الدكتوراه في القيادة التربوية من جامعة نيوكاسل في بريطانيا وشغل مناصب قيادية في التعليم العام والجامعي وأسهم في تطوير معايير الاعتماد الأكاديمي وجودة المدارس وله أبحاث منشورة في مجلات علمية دولية في مجالات القيادة التعليمية وتطوير الكوادر التربوية ويعد من الجيل الأكاديمي السعودي الذي جمع بين البحث العلمي والخبرة الميداني
حامد السلمي.. قيادة بروح الثقافة
عُرف حامد السلمي بكونه أحد أبرز القادة التربويين الذين جمعوا بين الحزم الإداري والرؤية الثقافية الواسعة، إذ بدأ مسيرته معلماً في جدة عام 1396هـ، قبل أن يتولى مناصب قيادية عدة، كان أبرزها إدارة الإشراف التربوي وتعليم مكة المكرمة، وتميز بأسلوبه الإنساني في الإدارة وقدرته على صناعة القرار بتوازن، حتى أصبح نموذجاً يحتذى في القيادة التربوية الملهمة.
كما عُرف عنه عشقه للكلمة والقصيدة، فكان شاعراً وكاتباً يرى في الحرف رسالة تربوية، وفي القصيدة مساحة للتأمل والإلهام، فجمع بين الفكر والإحساس في شخصية قلّ أن تتكرر في الميدان التعليمي.
عبدالله الهويمل.. هندسة التطوير التربوي
أما عبدالله الهويمل فاشتهر بفكره الأكاديمي ورؤيته المستقبلية التي جمعت بين التخطيط العلمي وروح الميدان، إذ تولى إدارة التعليم في مكة المكرمة في مرحلة مليئة بالتحول والتطوير، فأدخل مفاهيم الجودة والتميز المؤسسي إلى منظومة التعليم، وأطلق برامج لتأهيل القيادات الوسطى، وكان يؤمن بأن التعليم لا يُقاس بعدد المدارس بل بنوعية الإنسان الذي يصنعها.
ترك الهويمل إرثاً إدارياً وتربوياً عميقاً، وأثّر في جيل كامل من القيادات الذين ما زالوا يسيرون على نهجه.
عبدالله المليص.. بصمة الهدوء والإنجاز
ويُعد عبدالله المليص من القامات العلمية الهادئة التي صنعت الأثر بصمت؛ فقد بدأ مسيرته معلماً للرياضيات، قبل أن يتقلد مناصب إشرافية وإدارية عدة، من بينها إدارة مركز إشراف الشرق وإدارة التدريب والابتعاث بجدة. واشتهر بدقته العلمية وانضباطه المهني وإيمانه بالتطوير المستمر، وأسهم في بناء برامج تدريبية نوعية وتطوير المناهج وربطها بالتقنية الحديثة، كما شارك في بحوث تربوية وتطبيقات ميدانية جعلت اسمه مرادفاً للإنجاز والوعي المهني.
وقد مُنح وسام العطاء والوفاء من الهيئة العالمية لتبادل المعرفة، تقديراً لمسيرته المتميزة في خدمة التعليم وإثراء الميدان التربوي.
On a night of loyalty and recognition of contributions, the World Knowledge Exchange Organization honored three prominent figures in education from the Makkah region: Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Zaydi, Hamid bin Jaber Al-Sulami, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Huwail, and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Mulais, during the "Loyalty Day 2025" celebration dedicated to honoring the pioneers of education from the generation of giving, in the presence of educational leaders and academic and community figures.
This honor came as a culmination of a rich journey that extended over decades, during which the honorees provided the essence of their thoughts and experiences in building modern Saudi education, contributing to shaping the awareness of generations and building leadership models in the educational field.
Al-Zaydi .. A Symbol of Educational Research and Development
Dr. Ahmed Al-Zaydi is a prominent Saudi academic and educational researcher who obtained his PhD in educational leadership from Newcastle University in the UK. He has held leadership positions in both general and higher education and contributed to the development of academic accreditation standards and school quality. He has published research in international scientific journals in the fields of educational leadership and the development of educational staff and is considered one of the Saudi academic generation that combines scientific research with field experience.
Hamid Al-Sulami .. Leadership with a Cultural Spirit
Hamid Al-Sulami is known as one of the most prominent educational leaders who combined administrative firmness with a broad cultural vision. He began his career as a teacher in Jeddah in 1396 AH, before taking on several leadership positions, the most notable of which was managing educational supervision and education in Makkah. He distinguished himself with his human approach to management and his ability to make balanced decisions, becoming a model to be emulated in inspiring educational leadership.
He was also known for his love of words and poetry, being a poet and writer who saw in the letter an educational message, and in poetry a space for contemplation and inspiration, combining thought and feeling in a personality that is rarely repeated in the educational field.
Abdullah Al-Huwail .. Engineering Educational Development
As for Abdullah Al-Huwail, he became famous for his academic thought and future vision that combined scientific planning with the spirit of the field. He managed education in Makkah during a phase filled with transformation and development, introducing concepts of quality and institutional excellence into the education system, launching programs to qualify middle leadership, and believing that education is not measured by the number of schools but by the quality of the individuals who create them.
Al-Huwail left a profound administrative and educational legacy, influencing an entire generation of leaders who continue to follow in his footsteps.
Abdullah Al-Mulais .. The Mark of Calmness and Achievement
Abdullah Al-Mulais is considered one of the quiet scientific figures who made an impact silently; he began his journey as a mathematics teacher before holding several supervisory and administrative positions, including managing the Eastern Supervision Center and the Training and Scholarship Administration in Jeddah. He was known for his scientific accuracy, professional discipline, and belief in continuous development, contributing to building quality training programs and developing curricula linked to modern technology. He also participated in educational research and field applications that made his name synonymous with achievement and professional awareness.
He was awarded the Medal of Giving and Loyalty by the World Knowledge Exchange Organization, in recognition of his distinguished journey in serving education and enriching the educational field.
