دشّنت الكلية التقنية بمحافظة جدة مبادرة «تقني أخضر» البيئية. وأوضح عميد الكلية التقنية بجدة المهندس عبدالرؤوف بن سعيد حبيب الله بأن هذه المبادرة تتمثل في تأهيل وتمكين متدربي الكلية التقنية بمختلف تخصصاتها من المساهمة في خدمة البيئة والمجتمع وذلك من خلال مشاريع تطوعية عملية تدمج بين التقنية والوعي البيئي وتسهم في جودة الحياة. وقد تم إشراك (300) متدرب من الكلية في أنشطة مهنية متخصصة وبيئية تطوعية ترفع من مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى متدربي الكلية البالغ عددهم ما يقارب 10 آلاف متدرب بشكل عام.
وأضاف المهندس حبيب الله بأن هذه المبادرة تأتي انطلاقاً من دور الجمعية والكلية الرائد في تمكين المجتمع وتعزيز قيم التطوع وتمكين المتدربين من أداء دور فاعل في خدمة بيئتهم ومجتمعهم، كما تساهم في غرس قيم العطاء والانتماء لديهم. وتأتي المبادرة التي تواكب اليوم الوطني السعودي الخامس والتسعين، استجابة لتوجهات المملكة نحو الاستدامة البيئية ضمن رؤية 2030، حيث يتم الدمج بين المهارات التقنية للمتدربين وبين الوعي البيئي لتقديم حلول عملية ومشاريع تطوعية تحقق أثراً ملموساً في المساجد والمدارس والمجتمع المحيط.
The Technical College in Jeddah Governorate has launched the "Green Tech" environmental initiative. The Dean of the Technical College in Jeddah, Engineer Abdulraouf bin Saeed Habib Allah, explained that this initiative aims to qualify and empower the college's trainees in various specializations to contribute to serving the environment and the community through practical volunteer projects that integrate technology with environmental awareness and contribute to quality of life. A total of 300 trainees from the college have been involved in specialized professional and environmental volunteer activities that raise environmental awareness among the college's trainees, who number nearly 10,000 in total.
Engineer Habib Allah added that this initiative comes as part of the association's and the college's pioneering role in empowering the community, enhancing the values of volunteering, and enabling trainees to play an active role in serving their environment and community. It also helps instill values of giving and belonging among them. The initiative coincides with the 95th Saudi National Day, responding to the Kingdom's directions towards environmental sustainability as part of Vision 2030, where the technical skills of the trainees are integrated with environmental awareness to provide practical solutions and volunteer projects that achieve a tangible impact in mosques, schools, and the surrounding community.
