انتقلت إلى رحمة الله تعالى مساء اليوم (الإثنين) والدة رئيس القسم الرياضي في صحيفة «عكاظ» الزميل عادل النجار، بعد معاناة مع المرض، وسيصلى عليها فجر اليوم (الثلاثاء) في مسجد القريقري بحي الحمدانية، وسيوارى جثمانه الثرى في مقبرة الصالحية بجدة. والفقيدة شقيقة أحمد وعلي أشقر. ووالدة كل من: إبراهيم، وخديجة، وفاطمة والزميل عادل، وأحمد، والدكتورة هند النجار.
Tonight (Monday), the mother of the sports section head at the newspaper "Okaz," colleague Adel Al-Najjar, passed away after a struggle with illness. She will be prayed for at dawn tomorrow (Tuesday) at Al-Quraigri Mosque in the Al-Hamdaniya neighborhood, and her body will be laid to rest in Al-Salihiya cemetery in Jeddah. The deceased is the sister of Ahmed and Ali Ashqar, and the mother of Ibrahim, Khadija, Fatima, colleague Adel, Ahmed, and Dr. Hind Al-Najjar.
Condolences will be received at the family home located in Al-Manar neighborhood in Jeddah.
"Okaz," which is saddened by the news, extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, asking God to envelop her in His vast mercy, grant her a place in His spacious gardens, and inspire her family with patience and solace.
