في إنجاز علمي وطني يُضاف إلى سجل الكفاءات السعودية المتميزة، حصل الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن ناصر بن محمد آل شلية الأسمري، الأستاذ المساعد بكلية الصيدلة في جامعة الباحة، على درجة الدكتوراه في العلوم الصيدلانية من جامعة لونغ آيلاند بولاية نيويورك بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بتخصص دقيق في إيصال الدواء وعلاج الأورام عبر الجينات باستخدام تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي والبحث المخبري.
وأكد الدكتور الأسمري أن هذا النجاح ما كان ليتحقق إلا بفضل الله وتوفيقه، مشيراً إلى أن هذه الدرجة ستكون دافعاً لمواصلة مسيرته في خدمة الدين والوطن، وتعزيز دوره في البحث العلمي الذي يُعد ركيزة أساسية للتنمية الصحية والطبية.
يُذكر أن الدكتور الأسمري متفرغ حالياً للبحث العلمي ضمن كلية الصيدلة بجامعة الباحة، ساعياً لتطوير حلول مبتكرة تُسهم في تحسين أساليب العلاج الحديثة وتدعم مسيرة المملكة في المجال الطبي والبحثي.
In a national scientific achievement added to the record of distinguished Saudi competencies, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Shalhiyah Al-Asmeri, an assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy at Al-Baha University, obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Long Island University in New York, USA, with a specialization in drug delivery and cancer treatment through genes using artificial intelligence techniques and laboratory research.
Dr. Al-Asmeri confirmed that this success would not have been possible except by the grace and guidance of God, noting that this degree will be a motivation to continue his journey in serving the religion and the nation, and to enhance his role in scientific research, which is a fundamental pillar for health and medical development.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Al-Asmeri is currently dedicated to scientific research within the College of Pharmacy at Al-Baha University, striving to develop innovative solutions that contribute to improving modern treatment methods and support the Kingdom's journey in the medical and research fields.
