الموت يغيّب الزميل أحمد مكي

The colleague Ahmed Hassan Maki passed away to the mercy of Allah, this afternoon (Wednesday), at his home in Mecca.

His funeral prayer will be held after the Maghrib prayer today (Wednesday) at the Grand Mosque, and his body will be laid to rest in the Al-Mualla Cemetery in Mecca.

The deceased was the husband of Buthaina Yamani and the father of: Hassan, Ghofran, and Rawan Ahmed Maki.

The deceased worked at the newspaper "Okaz" and the electronic newspaper of Mecca, where he presented two columns titled "Faces of Goodness" and "Unbelievable," which were of great interest to readers, in addition to numerous social articles that were well appreciated by the audience.

Condolences for men will be accepted tomorrow (Thursday) only, at the home of Muhammad Saleh Al-Yamani, in the Um Al-Kaddad neighborhood in Mecca.

"Okaz," which was saddened by the news, extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, asking Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy and grant him a place in His spacious gardens. Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
