صدر الأمر الملكي الكريم بترقية عضو هيئة التدريس بكلية الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز للقيادة والأركان بالحرس الوطني، اللواء ركن علي العمري، إلى رتبة لواء ركن في الحرس الوطني.
وأعرب العمري عن فخره واعتزازه بهذه الثقة الغالية، مؤكداً أنها وسام شرف على صدره ودافع لمواصلة العطاء في خدمة الدين ثم المليك والوطن.
ويعد اللواء الركن العمري من الكفاءات القيادية والأكاديمية المميزة، إذ شغل عدداً من المواقع القيادية في الحرس الوطني، وأسهم في إعداد وتأهيل القيادات العسكرية من خلال عمله الأكاديمي في كلية الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز للقيادة والأركان، إضافة إلى مشاركاته في عدد من المؤتمرات والدورات العسكرية المتقدمة داخل المملكة وخارجها.

The royal decree was issued to promote the faculty member at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Leadership and Staff at the National Guard, Brigadier General Ali Al-Omari, to the rank of Major General in the National Guard.
Al-Omari expressed his pride and honor in this precious trust, affirming that it is a badge of honor on his chest and a motivation to continue giving in the service of religion, then the king, and the homeland.
Brigadier General Al-Omari is considered one of the distinguished leadership and academic competencies, having held several leadership positions in the National Guard and contributed to the preparation and qualification of military leaders through his academic work at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Leadership and Staff, in addition to his participation in several conferences and advanced military courses both inside and outside the Kingdom.
