Hamed Suleiman Al-Qurashi passed away today, due to a sudden health issue. The deceased was the brother of the Saudi ambassador to the Republic of Eritrea, Saqr Al-Qurashi, and the founder of the Saudi Chess Federation since 2012, the president of the Saudi Chess Club since 2009, a founding member of the National Committee for Nutrition and Relief of the Saudi Chambers Council, a non-resident manager of projects and artistic relations at the Saudi Professional, and a representative of the Sports Investment Committee for the Taif Chamber at the Saudi Chambers Council.
