قدّم أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز، تعازيه لرئيس محكمة الاستئناف بالمنطقة الشيخ خالد بن أحمد بشير معافا في وفاة والده الشيخ أحمد بشير معافا قاضي التمييز سابقاً.
وعبر أمير جازان، في اتصال هاتفي، عن خالص عزائه ومواساته في الفقيد (رحمه الله)، سائلاً الله العلي القدير أن يرحمه ويسكنه فسيح جناته، ويلهم ذويه الصبر والسلوان.
من جانبه، أعرب الشيخ خالد معافا عن شكره لأمير المنطقة على تعزيته ومواساته لهم.
كما نعى مشايخ وأعيان أهالي منطقة جازان فضيلة الشيخ أحمد محمد بشير معافا قاضي تمييز متقاعد بعد انتقاله إلى رحمة الله تعالى اليوم (الثلاثاء).
ويعد الشيخ أحمد بن محمد بشير معافا من مواليد مدينة ضمد عام 1356هـ، درس في الكتاتيب على يد المعلم محمد بن إبراهيم الأقصم، ثم في معهد الشيخ القرعاوي في ضمد، ثم في المدرسة الابتدائية -مدرسة الشيخ أحمد بن عبدالله الحازمي- بالصف الرابع، ثم انتقل إلى المدرسة العزيزية في جازان، ثم التحق بمعهد صامطة العلمي، وتخرج فيه عام 1379هـ.
وهو وزملاؤه أول دفعة تتخرج من معهد صامطة العلمي، ثم واصل دراسته الجامعية في كلية الشريعة بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية في الرياض، وتخرج فيها عام 1383هـ يحمل ليسانس شريعة.
اختير ليتولى منصب القضاء، وصدر أمر الملك فيصل بن عبدالعزيز بتعيينه قاضياً في محكمة العارضة في نفس العام الذي تخرج فيه 1383هـ. ومكث في محكمة العارضة نحو 12 عاماً، ثم انتقل إلى محكمة أبي عريش ومكث فيها نحو 9 سنوات، ثم انتقل إلى محكمة جازان، وانتدب من مجلس القضاء الأعلى للتفتيش على محاكم منطقة الرياض وتوابعها.
بقي في محكمة جازان الكبرى حتى صدر قرار ترقيته إلى قاضي تمييز بمكة المكرمة، وبقي فيه إلى أن تقاعد.
وهو من رجال الإصلاح في المنطقة ومن أعضاء لجنة الإصلاح الفرعية بالمنطقة، وهو خطيب مفوه، وقد كان خطيباً في أكثر من جامع كان آخرها جامعه جامع الشيخ أحمد بشير في ضمد.
وهو عضو مجلس المنطقة سابقاً ولفترتين متتاليتين، وهو رجل اجتماعي يتمتع بأخلاق عالية ونفس كريمة (رحمه الله تعالى).
The Emir of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, expressed his condolences to the President of the Court of Appeal in the region, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Bashir Muafa, on the death of his father, Sheikh Ahmed Bashir Muafa, a former Supreme Court judge.
In a phone call, the Emir of Jazan conveyed his sincere condolences and sympathy for the deceased (may God have mercy on him), asking Almighty God to grant him mercy and place him in His vast gardens, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.
For his part, Sheikh Khalid Muafa expressed his gratitude to the Emir of the region for his condolences and sympathy.
Sheikhs and dignitaries of the people of Jazan Region also mourned the late Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Bashir Muafa, a retired Supreme Court judge, who passed away today (Tuesday).
Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Bashir Muafa was born in the city of Dhamad in 1356 AH. He studied in traditional schools under the teacher Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Aqsem, then at Sheikh Al-Qarawi Institute in Dhamad, and then at the primary school - Sheikh Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Hazmi School - in the fourth grade. He then moved to Al-Aziziyah School in Jazan, and later joined Samta Scientific Institute, graduating in 1379 AH.
He and his colleagues were the first batch to graduate from Samta Scientific Institute, and he continued his university studies at the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, graduating in 1383 AH with a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia.
He was chosen to hold a judicial position, and King Faisal bin Abdulaziz issued an order appointing him as a judge at the Al-Aridah Court in the same year he graduated, 1383 AH. He remained at the Al-Aridah Court for about 12 years, then moved to the Abu Arish Court, where he stayed for about 9 years, before transferring to the Jazan Court, and was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Council to inspect the courts in the Riyadh region and its affiliates.
He remained at the Jazan Grand Court until he was promoted to a Supreme Court judge in Mecca, where he stayed until his retirement.
He was one of the reform figures in the region and a member of the Sub-Committee for Reform in the area. He was an eloquent speaker and served as a preacher in several mosques, the last of which was Sheikh Ahmed Bashir Mosque in Dhamad.
He was also a former member of the region's council for two consecutive terms, and he was a sociable man with high morals and a generous spirit (may God have mercy on him).
