«الضرّة» لم تعد مُرّة.. هكذا كان حال ابن الطائف ماجد بلداح الروقي، الذي جسدت زوجته الأولى نورة سالم الشمري أروع الأمثلة في الإيثار والتضحية والوفاء، حين تبرعت بـ٨٠% من كبدها لـ«ضرتها» تغريد عواض السعدي، لتنهي رحلتها المريرة مع الغسل الكلوي.
فما إن شاهد الروقي زوجته تغريد تتألم من مرض الفشل الكلوي منذ فترة طويلة، قرر التبرع لها بإحدى كليتيه، لتخفيف بعض من معاناتها، حتى سارعت زوجته الأولى «أم تركي» إلى التبرع لها أيضاً بجزء من الكبد لوجه الله تعالى.
ويروي ماجد بلداح الروقي لـ«عكاظ» أحداث القصة التي تناقلتها مجالس الطائف حين تزوج قبل 7 سنوات وتعرضت زوجته تغريد لفشل كلوي وعجزت المستشفيات في الوصول إلى علاج ينهي معاناتها، حيث سافرت للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية -على نفقة الدولة- لمدة عام من أجل إيجاد علاج لكن دون جدوى.
وأضاف: «حين عادت إلى أرض الوطن قررت التبرع لها بإحدى كليتيّ، وأوصيت «أم تركي» على أبنائي الخمسة، ففوجئت بإعلانها التبرع بـ80% من كبدها لوجه الله. وجاءت كالغيث الذي يروي جدب الصحاري القاحلة، حيث تمت العملية وتكللت بالنجاح بعد تطابق الأنسجة والفحوصات الطبية».
“The co-wife” is no longer bitter.. This was the case for Majid Baldah Al-Ruqai, whose first wife, Nora Salem Al-Shammari, exemplified the best in selflessness, sacrifice, and loyalty when she donated 80% of her liver to his “co-wife” Taghreed Awad Al-Saadi, ending her painful journey with kidney dialysis.
As soon as Al-Ruqai saw his wife Taghreed suffering from kidney failure for a long time, he decided to donate one of his kidneys to alleviate some of her suffering, prompting his first wife “Um Turki” to also rush to donate part of her liver for the sake of God Almighty.
Majid Baldah Al-Ruqai recounts to “Okaz” the events of the story that circulated in the gatherings of Taif when he married seven years ago and his wife Taghreed suffered from kidney failure, with hospitals unable to find a treatment to end her suffering. She traveled to the United States - at the state's expense - for a year to find a cure, but to no avail.
He added: “When she returned to the homeland, I decided to donate one of my kidneys to her, and I entrusted ‘Um Turki’ with my five children. I was surprised by her announcement to donate 80% of her liver for the sake of God. She came like rain that nourishes the barren deserts, and the operation was successful after the tissue match and medical tests.”
